My Dodgers can never have their offense and defense doing well all in the same day. It seems like when their offense is doing good, their pitching just sucks! Hey least the Pirates are doing well. For how long though???

I still can't believe how bad the Red Sox are playing, not that I'm complaining. I just find it funny after all the hype they were getting in the offseason, right up until opening day.

as much as i am enjoying the red sox losing (i'm an angels fan and the red sox kill us) i would rather the 0-5 start go to the yankees because i truly loathe that organization.

Well, not only is Boston playing poorly but so is Tampa. Can't believe my O's finally lost too...they've been playing very well top to bottom.

Looking forward to the Pirates Rockies game tomorrow. Dollar ticket day and My friends and I are all going. Plus its t-shirt Friday! This is the first game of the season for me. Got a whole bunch more to go to, even though they may suck towards the end of the season.

Dollar tickets? That's pretty sweet. I guess that's one way to get people to go to games in this economy. |

Yeah...is now the time to hit the panic button for the Red Sox? Can't be complaining though...as a Jays supporter.

not even close to panic time, if this was football and they were 0-6 then yes but there's 156 games left for them. |

if the sox go 0-20 then start panicking but it's way too early. they've always been a strong team and will find a way to get out of the slump.

Funny how the least athletic major professional sport in America (obviously, not considering golf as a major pro sport) seems to think they need the most artificial help. Haha....losers!

you obviously never played baseball at a semi-high or high level because it requires a ton of skill and (except for the pitcher) alot of athleticism, body control, and mechanics.

and the sox finally get a win, and it's against the yanks
of the major sports, yeah baseball could be considered the least athletic since you don't run too often but it takes a lot of skill though like golf. |

What's the saying? If you can't do the time, don't do the crime? Manny is an idiot. He could have had such a successful career. He will never see the hall of fame.

Went to the Pirates game last night. Dolla Seats, and what a long game. It was freezing too! My wife and I left after the 7th inning because it was just way too cold for us. It went 14 innings and the Pirates beat the Rockies 4-3. I wish it was a little warmer, I would have stayed the 5 plus hours it took to finish the game.

Yeah worse start since 1945. Still though it's a long season and there is no need to panic for sox fans. They have the talent this year.

the red sox will probably get the wild card. i say that not necessarily because of the crap start but more so what we've seen with their starting pitching. we all know lester will be great but lackey (keep in mind i'm an angels fan so i know him well) is easily one of the most overrated pitchers i've ever seen. he's average at best with a dominating game or two in him per season. matzuzaka is so so average it makes me feel sorry for the sox (not really). beckett is hit and miss now with all the injuries. they'll hit like crazy so they'll still make the playoffs but the yanks will probably take the division.

Dodgers Giants games, San Francisco edition. This is going to be a good three game series. Kershaw to pitch against Bumgarner.

I'm a little bit worried about this one. We haven't scored a run off of Kershaw in like 18 innings. Bumgarner was also a little shaky last time he went out, although I normally trust him. We really need to give Belt a day off though; Huff should be at first today with Nate in right. Torres picked a great time to get hurt also, Rowand is HOT. Everyone needs to get it together after yesterday. |
