I'm a little bit worried about this one.  We haven't scored a run off of Kershaw in like 18 innings.  Bumgarner was also a little shaky last time he went out, although I normally trust him.  We really need to give Belt a day off though; Huff should be at first today with Nate in right.  Torres picked a great time to get hurt also, Rowand is HOT.  Everyone needs to get it together after yesterday.

And guess what?  Still can't score a run on Kersahw, Belt's not doing anything, and Bumgarner gave up 5 runs in the first 5 innings.  At least he got a hit, unlike ANYONE else on the team.

I would have thought that the Giants would have done something to answer back other than a Pat B homer.  This game was dedicated to Bryan Stow, and they looked sad.  Kershaw looked amazing, I mean he had me a little nervous a few times, but he pulled it through.  Can't wait until Billingsly and Lincecum.  I hope Billingsly doesn't fall apart like he normally does.

Tribe's winning streak comes to an end last night.  I don't think anyone would have thought they would go 8-2 the first ten games.  Hopefully they might salvage something for cleveland to be happy about.

The Rangers will be fine. Yes Hamilton is a huge asset to the team, but he's not the only one producing. Rangers have some firepower and some pleasantly suprising pitching to back it up.

Rangers did just fine without Hamilton for portions of last season. I don't see a huge drop for the Rangers this season either with his injury.

Cliff Lee was a huge loss but I agree, Harrison and Ogando have been pleasantly surprising.

Thank god Posey is getting his bat back.

Belt needs to get sent down to AAA when we get CODY back soon.

Tigers get another walk-off hit to win the game, 2 in a row against the red-hot Rangers.  Yesterday it was Cabrera with a 2 out bases-loaded single, today it's Inge with a homer.

Thank God the Tigers won again. I'm an Angels fan so I love to see the Rangers take a loss. I hate to see injuries but now with Hamilton out for awhile they may slow down a bit.

I highly recommend mlb.tv for games if you don't get them in market. Includes away/home audio/video broadcasts for any game live or previously played. Mobile and ps3 apps are pretty good as well, great great quality video streaming on 3g

I knew Billingsley would choke, but for a second I thought we had it.  Lincecum started giving up runs, I had a lot of hope that we would be able to pull out a win.  Final game of the series tonight.  Hope Lilly can stay on the mound tonight through at least 6 without giving up a ton of runs.  Our pitching needs to be strong when our offense is putting numbers on the board!

Troy Tulowitzki is out of control. Easily one of the best plyers in baseball (offensively and defensively). I went to school at Long Beach St. and remember seeing both him and Evan Longoria at the on-campus Pub/Restaraunt. Crazy stuff.

That's awesome! I enjoy living in Denver having the Rockies. His commercials are also pretty funny.

He just went 3-4 in the first of their doubleheader

rzero, you are lucky having a team with two elite players in Tulo and Carlos Gonzalez. As an Angel fan (although they've managed to be decently successfull in recent years) we NEVER have had that top of the line guy my whole lifetime. They make due with washed up stars like bargain bin shoppers (most recently Vernon Wells).

Wo wo wo.  As a lifelong Angels fan also, I must object to the NEVER statement up there.  What about Vlad Guerrero?  Though he (in my opinion) was a huge dissapointment what with all the injuries, declining production, and postseason slumps, I remember the day the Angels signed him and thinking Wow we got one of the elite sluggers in the game.  He was probably one of the top 5 most feared hitters in the game at that time.  His numbers were, and still are, ridiculous.  Plus his CANNON from right field was a weapon too, stopping untold runners from advancing to the next base.

Oh yeah, can't believe I forgot about K-Rod too.  Frankie Rodriguez still holds the MLB record for single season saves right?  True, he only pitches 1 inning every other game (maybe) but he was still a legit superstar.

robnezz23, i agree that vlad was superstar talent but you have to admit he was sort of hidden being that he came from montreal (his years there were incredible but you only knew about them if you were a regular viewer of Baseball Tonight). then he got to the angels and his knees were toast from playing outfield on turf for the first portion of his career. granted, he was a great hitter but he was NOT clutch at all. in fact, he was possibly the least clutch hitter of all the great hitters i've seen in my lifetime. remember all those pathetic dribblers he would hit in the playoffs with men on base. and then with k-rod, ya i'll have to give that one to you. i just have issues with closers i guess (other than mariano rivera and i vaguely remember eckersely from my really young days)

now you're talking!  speaking of clutch, in that World Series the Angels heroes were Troy Glaus and Scott Spiezio.  Not to mention that this is the year that John Lackey and Frankie Rodriguez established themselves as young stars.  Hard to believe this was already 8+ years ago.

Ever heard the rumour that Moises Alou used to urinate on his hands to callous them up so he wouldn't get blisters?  Gross, I know, but hey if it works...

Nope.  Still not worth it.

The O's are right on cue.  Every year they have a hot start, then after a week or two, they start sinking to last place.

The Red Sox are really doing bad now with the worst record in baseball. I hope they can pull out a win on Saturday.

What do the Dodgers' do to celebrate Ja Rob day?  They lose 11-2.  Are you for real?  Couldn't even make it a little close???  I'm glad I chose not to watch the game last night.  Plenty of good shows to watch than sit through that game.
