You'd think tx would intentionally walk him. If u give up +10 runs, screw it.
is it just me? or is common sense not that common.

That'll be a tough one to commit to with the Cards' hittin the way they are. Was lastnight more of a fluke by getting that many runs off the Rangers' bullpen? I agreee solocreep... they should have walked him after one hr.

agreed, that's how it's done.  it's funny how so many athletes from other sports always throw it in the dirt.

Bush gets up there and doesn't wait for anything. He hits the mound and launches, it was a good pitch from the goofball though.

Holland was incredible giving up two hits and the closer shut the Cards out! Rangers looked good on both sides, hopefully it continues against Carpenter in Game 5... I would like this series to go 7 games but if Nolan Ryan gets his prediction I'm cool with that too.

St. Louis is still going to win and not simply because they have more at-home games.

That strikeout on Pujols and the throw by Napoli to Kinsler to get Allen Craig out trying to steal a base was sick!!! What a double play!!

Pretty crazy that LaRussa couldn't get his closer into the game early enough because of a "miscommunication" with the bullpen.  Somebody is gonna get fired for that.

Napoli's is beasting in the WS with 9 RBIs... that's pretty damn impressive. If the Rangers win should he be the MVP or does anyone think they'll give it to Pujols for 3HR in one game?

Got to feel bad for LaRussa there, but that's the kind of mistake that shouldn't happen at this level.

Especially in a tied world series.....
I think the series will go to game 7, but really hard to predict the winner of this one.
Pujols is too inconsistent.....maybe he shoulda saved up his homers and spread them out into different games....hahaha

LaRusa is putting Berkman in at the 4-spot... Hopefully that works for him. If the Cards lose they will always question LaRusa but if they come back and win it all it will be forgotten.

Weather doesn't look pretty, might be postponed...

with today's technology..why are they still using land line phones? can't they text or use some other way to cummunicate? what about a camera so the manager can see the bullpen from thet dugout? this is just an example of how baseball is so behind of the times...

rangers bringing home the trophy tonight...if the weather will let them play...Napoli, World Seriew MVP.

Don't think that's gonna happen, do you remember what the Dodger fan(s) did to a Giants fan earlier in the season?

Couldn't believe MLB postponed this game witha threat of rain.  Heard on sports radio it didn't even rain in St Louis once they called it.

Yeah, that was pretty weak.  I understand what they were trying to do, but they were way too conservative.  If the Cards can win game 6, it will benefit them big time.  Carpenter could come back and pitch game 7 on 3 days rest.

They didn't want a repeat of what happened with game 1 ALDS with Sabathia and Verlander.

I think if they would have waited until game time and checked the forecast they would have been fine to go on with the game. It allows the players to approach the day with the intent to play. If it's called prior to warm-ups instead of half-a-day ahead it would be better. Besides, how often do weathermen get the forecast correct? Although I can understand them not wanting to make a repeat of the ALDS...

they should just suck it up and play in the rain...unless there's lightning...

playing a day late definitely helps the cardinals if there's a game 7. they would be able to play carpenter again...

Hometown kid David Freese with a walk off HR!
Game 7 tomorrow night.

I also wonder if Nelson Cruz was tiring or injured, as he got subbed for in the last inning.
