Knife party is rediculously good.  Better than skrillex in my opinion.  They just put their album out for for free download.

Didn't read through the whole thread, but has anyone listened to Big Chocolate? He was on Warped Tour this past summer and I really like him. His one song is a remix for Suicide Silence which is kinda weird, but most of his songs are really good.

Seriously, what differentiates "good" dubstep from "bad" dubstep?  It is always just some electronic beat that maybe has something good that was ripped-off from some real music.

This might be the dumbest question I have ever heard. Producing dubstep is a lot of work and it is pretty damn hard. Just because it is on a computer doesn't mean shit.

love this track if only because it takes a hippy trance vocal and keeps it reasonably dark:

It's like listening to an out-of-phase, double-tracked sample of a sloth while it kicks, claps and claws for freedom against a blackboard

If it hasn't already been posted......
Check out the website SalaciousSound.com

It's done by a bunch of people from Toronto heavy into the electronic music scene.  They post music, videos, reviews, etc. usually on a daily basis.
Lots of the music they post you can download for free directly from the link on the page, and if it isn't free it will direct you to where you can buy it.  They post a lot of Dubstep!
ThisSongisSick.com is another good site to check out.

Mountain still not open here in Boise :(  but can't wait to be shredding with the dubstep tunes in my ear!
