there have been 5 or 6 new facebook statuses in the last couple mins about it haha

He's been so close to dying of kidney disease I think we could have just left him as is. Hopefully Pakistan isn't going to be to upset with us for killing him just outside of their capital (allegedly, it's all still pretty early).

CNN reports that a Navy Seal team was the weapon of choice. Doesn't really matter. As long as it's him and they got the body to prove it.

i think the question was, how or what dna of bin laden's did they have before. to that i can't answer, but good question. i was also wondering how they were going to confirm that it was him and not a decoy. wonder where they got previous bin laden dna...

It's interesting how the Internet has changed how we learn about breaking news; I first heard it from Facebook as well, and then figured there was something to it when I saw that the CNN mobile site was timing out (presumably from the DDOS-level amount of traffic they were getting).

I read he was shot in the head by Navy Seals, the body's DNA was tested to confirm it was him, the body was quickly "buried at sea" to appease the Muslims who believe in a quick burial after death.

Am i the only one that has a bit of skepticism in all of this? I am not a person who believes in conspiracy's by any means, but some of the details like "buried at sea" seem a bit odd so to speak. Also, to me the timing seems a bit... convenient, for Obama. He is taking credit for this and i'm not so sure he deserves it. It wouldn't be the first time the government has lied about something.

Now with all that said, if he really is dead that is great as it provides some closure for America and goes to show the USA will not back down.

right now im at the dialysis clinic waiting for my patients to arrive

hmmm i didnt know he was able to get dialysis over there... he would need really clean water (a reverse osmosis water purification machine)to dialyze... and if he dialyzed a couple times a week... he would need to dialyze at least 4-5 hours a day... if this was the case he was never ever hiding in a cave...

its about time. 10yrs since i joined the military, its finally good to know he's dead. it feels good to breathe a bit, even though we prepare for retaliation.

…very curious circumstances indeed… The body conveniently disposed of within hours of ‘his’ death, shot in the head so I’m sure the pictures we will eventually be seeing will not show much of a face… the ‘story’ will become more blurry as time goes along & the truth will never be known.

i think its so awesome the shoot him in the head then take his DNA to compare then drop his body in the middle of the ocean someplace
