I must admit, I'm not a fan of the trippy editing. I find it takes away from the riding. Just when I'm about to focus on the next feature, the picture changes and you lose the flow. Sick rider though and awesome footage nonetheless! I would have slow-mo'ed the bigger drops. Good video overall!

For some reason I thought this was going to be a joke video, i am glad its not. That footage is amazing, not my favourite editing but it worked well with the dubstep track.

I wish there were places around me like that for me to ride in. That was some epic footage, props. I think the sea turtle was my favorite part. I totally didn't expect it.

Editing took away from the sick content in my opinion.  Maybe a few slowmos on the sweet drops

What's the big deal with doing a slowmo on a drop?  I think that's one of the lamest edits ever since you don't get a feel for the speed and rush of free-fall.
Everyone likes a different style of video and sure there's room for improvement, but simply adding slowmo does not qualify as "better."

i second this. the cartooning is cool if theres a flat part in the run but not in the action. but aside from that, sick footage. those were some dank drops. did u use a gopro?

Great Video. I love the fact its not pointed strait at the ground like half the other videos I see. I find that so freaking annoying when the people attach the cams to their helmet and its pointed strait at the ground. I want to see the cliff and the decline, not your eff'n Skis or board! lol

The negative effects were great, can see the different lines made by previous skiiers/riders. But yah... I did not really like amoeba and jelly fish popping in for a cameo, and turtle has no place where you're free falling down a cliff side at god knows how fast.

no, those are lines probably in BC where he's from, possibly haines or valdez, he rides there as well. you scope where you want to go but it's not really feasible to go check out the drops, you just ride the line.  also, there is simply no way to comprehend just how huge and steep those lines and terrain are, other than going there and doing it.  no video angle of any kind can truly do it justice.

dave short is a great rider.  he has a really short part in black winter but it was rad.

The riding was awesome and I dug the track. Editing was pretty good but the "testing out every filter in Premeire" got pretty old. The heavy contrast flicker was cool, but the super imposed sea creatures...what?

Awesome editing, music, and footage! However, the sea creatures kept throwing me off and taking something away from the video.
