Vans 09/10 Jamie Lynn Boots

   Just bought a pair online, but now I'm reading about issues with the toe box collapsing with over-the-toe straps. Anyone got any first hand experience with this boot?

	why he heck are you still using over the toe straps? Those things are antiquated...and painful

	You might be thinking of over-the-top straps. Just about every binding made today is over-the-toe, i.e. Burton, Rome, Union, Technine, etc.
	Nothing to it but to do it.

	I guess I'll answer my own question. It's true. The toe box on this boot is incredibly soft. Got 'em in the mail so I tried 'em on. Very comfortable boot. Sick graphics with Jamie Lynn's signature blue woman. Strapped in to my bindings and sure enough the toe box, more specifically the sides near the big toe and pinky toe, folded in. I ride Raiden Wizards, but I can't see the toe box holding up with any brand of over-the-toe strap. The only binding I can see this boot not having a problem with would be Flows. Bummed out because everything else about this boot was killer.
	Nothing to it but to do it.
