Mine's 40 min without traffic, about 60 with traffic. Going to be moving at the end of the month, so that should go down to 20 without traffic and 45 with, though.

When I do go into the office it's
No Traffic = ~45 min
With traffic = ~1hr to 1.5

But I rarely go directly to my office and usually stop off at a clients first. So my commute technically varies from day to day. How else am i going to write off the max amount of mileage?

But most days my commute is 5 min... to walk my kid to school.

Edit: I have people that live way north of me and drive into Downtown San Diego. So their commute with traffic is like 2 hours. If they leave early enough or can use the carpool lanes maybe 1-1.5 hours.

1 minute in the car IF i hit a red light at the one light, 30 seconds if it's green with no traffic
7 minutes on foot at a moderate pace
3 minutes if i skate

i live across a small highway from where i work and then i just go down a short street and around a corner.  i think i can see it from my house actually, through some woods.

14 min drive right now starting in July it will be 28 min drive to the new office.....the time doesn't bother me but putting the extra money in gas will.......even though its not to much, i feel for the large commutes and hope you have small cars and not gas guzzlers like me....

36-38 miles of travel for me.

Usually takes about 45 minutes in good weather, up to two hours in the snow depending on how bad things get.

My commute is completely without traffic which makes it more doable.

walking + driving is 40min each way due to traffic...I'm thinking of ditching my car and bicycling to campus to save myself the gas $$ and apparently it will take the same amount of time for me to bicycle

about a 10 minute drive to campus for me!  Reason it takes so long is stop signs, since I gotta drive through downtown Davis.  I really only live a couple minutes away.

Mine is rough.  I have to get out of bed, walk all the way to the end of my bedroom.  Go in the hallway, open the door to my office and sit down.

Unless I have my laptop next to the bed when I wake up.  One thing I love about being self employed!

1.5 hour commute to the city ever day via a train. Not as bad as my friends: 30min ferry ride, 25min bus, 1 hour and 40 train to the city.

Are morning commutes different from midday/evening ones? Yeah, with traffic and what have you I guess it is..

15 minutes to get to campus, 20 minutes vulturing for a parking spot.

Some mornings I can spend 70 minutes traveling 27km into Melbournes CBD. Out of peak hour it's usually only about 25 minutes.
