I'm pretty sure if your here, you're fairly into snowsports.

But what else are you *really* into?

Snowboard 45+ days a year
fish 10+ days a year
hike 10+ days (getting into overnight backpacking this year)
Surf on occasion
Want to get back to 250 miles a month on my road bike

So right now, I'd say there are 3 activities that I'm passionate about.  do you have a top three?  one you focus 110% of your energy on?  Maybe I should hike/backpack and snowboard and save my $ and energy?

Clif notes: don't listen to zakk, he's crazy.  Dunno.  Slow day at work.

Snowboard = 20 days a year
Surf = 15 days a year
4x4 (offroad in custom rockcrawler & custom side x side) = 15 days a year.

Those are my top three.  My family and I also camp about 10-15 days a year usually when we have the toys out (Jeep or side x side).  I love to fish, just don't get the chance to go enough and am not that great.  I'd love to get into back packing but not really sure where to start.  Biking, well, the mountain bike collects dust so I mob around town on the crusier.

Snowboarding obviously, get in as many days as possible each year.

Hiking and camping, usually get in around 10-15 solid hikes and as much camping as other commitements allow.

Lifting, 3-4 times a week minimum.

Also even though it's not a sport projects around the house tend to take up just as much if not more time than all my other activites.  Next project, ripping out the carpet and putting in tile in the spare bathroom.

I snowboard about 50 days a season.
In the offseason I longboard and play soccer. I do at least one 3v3 soccer tournament each summer. It's so fun.

This may be the first year I get more surfing days (30+) than snowboarding days (25+).  However, I still consider myself a snowboarder NOT a surfer.

I got into kiteboarding through instructional videos and what I could find to read. I started in Florida's light wind off season, summers.

The most I learned was when I had experienced riders coaching me.

I highly recommend getting some help whether it is from a pro instructor or experienced rider that wants to help you progress. But you really should have someone with you during your first few times out.

There are many advanced level areas to kite but much fewer beginner spots. Make sure you are in an area that is safe for new riders when getting a start.

The gear is also costly. So get your lessons on rental gear to save some cash out the gate and then find used gear off sites like www.ikitesurf.com, once you know what you should be shopping for in gear.

whats you're definition of "into" ?

snowboard 30+ days
i used play tennis 3+ hrs, 6 days/week as a kid. not so much now but I'd still consider that a sport i'm into.
flag football - just finished a season. 2-3 days a week with practice plus a game each week.

hiking and surfing has taken a back seat since I've been busy with work.

Snowboard: ~20 days a year
Hockey: 1 ice league, 1-2 roller leagues. probably 100-150 games a year.
Mountain biking: 20-40 times a year
tennis: 20 times a year
auto-racing: 10 times a year
golf: maybe 5-10 times a year

Hockey's definitely my #1 activity, but I actually prioritize snowboarding in the winter since I can't do it year round.
