The lockout should be lifted here soon, so its time to talk some fantasy football. I'll start it off. Who are some sleepers?

I think we need to find out where all these free agents are going before we really know who some of the sleepers are. New teams can make a huge difference.

Yeah, it's pretty early. I've been taking some time off during the lock out to do other things. I have no idea who will be the best sleepers

Finally...seems like the long ass lock out will be over soon.... I wonder if Foster will repeat what he did last year.... I would still pick CJ over Foster

Unless there was some official simulation that the stats were based off of, that couldn't happen. But on the bright side, it's looking like they might get a deal worked out soon.

I can't wait for fantasy football because that makes watching the games so much more interesting so you are hoping for your players to do well even if you don't want their team to win.

I've heard talk about official simulations being used. To me that's stupid though, unless I can watch the players actually playing I'm not going to be doing it. |

I am in for anything but if we go dual QB's...lets stick to either 8 or the most 10 teams.
Gotta have flex positiions....maybe two or three.
By the way, I am Board Stiff in the league.

I dont mind more positions.
It sometimes gets boring playing the defaulted options.
I always change things up when I play with my friends too.

Ten teams 2 qbs. Drop passing tds to 4. I also like the idea of a .5 ppr. That way you get some points for a catch but it's not overwhelming.

Personally, a midweek evening (preferably other than Wed) would be easiest. What is everybody else's opinion? Can we also get a list of the 10 that are in the league, so it'd be easier to see who to listen to/who to ignore.

I left a message in the league asking to change to midweek as well.
And would Aug 6 be too early to draft?
When does season officially start if it does start on regular schedule? first week of sept?
I think Mid Aug weekday night would be the best.
Im in NY so I guess 11-12ish EST, which is 8-9PST would be best?

Draft should be after the last preseason game as there are always trades and injuries up to that point which can really change a draft strategy. Also I am NOT drinking during the draft this year, that did not help my strategy one bit last season |

LOL for sure, it's a false statement on my part, I just need to stay on task and not wonder off from the computer after the first few rounds. It didn't help I was like an early pick last season so I had a huge wait by the time the snake came back around.

I dont want to find out the day after the draft that my first pick was involved in a pig fight accident and shot himself while running away from the scene and got put into jail for the rest of the season.....

My biggest regret last season was drafting Jerome Harrison over Peyton Hillis. It was a heads or tails call and everything I read said Harrison was getting the majority of the carries. |
