Korean bbq wings are good! The fried chicken is a bit different than the US style. But very good. Very. I end up eating Korean fried chicken or wings more than Popeyes or KFC.

One of our customers has a taco food truck. He brought in enough food for 5 people to feast on. It cost $35, I think it was a discount. Otherwise that guy has to sell a whole lot of tacos to make some money. They were good! I had 5 tacos.

Food truck tacos today, had 1 carne asada, 1 carnitas and 1 pollo loco.  All were really good but the carnitas taco was excellent.  Need 3 of those next time.

The Korean chicken wing place named "Bonchon" is doing very well in the DC area. I've heard numerous commercials on the radio and from random people I've talked to recently. I also saw a few new restaurants opening too. They are good, but I dislike the fact that it takes 40 minutes to get the food, from when you order. I understand that it's fresh, but damn 40 minutes is a lot.

We have a great Thai restaurant near my place, but they are expensive. And the actual place is tiny, may be 15 two people tables in all. So we end up carrying out all the time.

Then I've found the holy grail.  LOL  No dish was over 10 bucks plus the taste was great and they didn't skip on presentation either, yay for food art!  When we walked in, I thought it was going to be so expensive but Google said one dollar sign and it didn't help that the place was pretty empty and quiet at 9 PM so I had to flip through the menu to make sure.  LOL  I think more people would go to it if the front door wasn't so badly placed out of view.

Yeah, somehow I haven't found a Thai restaurant that is cheap. The food and interior can look and taste cheap but the prices have always been expensive.

I think I found my go to Thai spot, the interior design was very Thai and the atmosphere felt pretty upscale along with the service but the price was hella cheap!

I had Korean Curry from our church. It was the first time I've ever disliked curry. Korean curry is one of my favorites. And anyone that's tried making it knows that it is really hard to make a bad batch. But man that batch was bad. I ended up throwing it away....

MIL packed me some bulgogi (marinated beef), spinach, and white kimchi with soup. Good and seems very nutritious. Of course I coulda had some more beef! But it was good and I am thankful for it.
