And this afternoon, I'll be smoking a tri-tip, a whole chicken and some bacon wrapped jalapeño peppers stuffed with cheddar cheese.

Yea I've been going to Safeway instead now. Much better sandwiches compare to fresh pond now. There's a lady that used to work there that always hooked it up, but she retired and the noobs suck, super skimpy.

A Guac Burger at Carl Jr's satisfies me to new heights. But being an accountant, I need to ration out my visits to that delicious place. My guilty pleasure.

Had pizza for lunch two days in a row. Yesterday's was NY style thin crust. Today's was regular pizza with Athens style toppings (olives, gyro meat, feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, and some other stuff). And Greek dressing for the crust!

Delias down here in Springfield VA has great pizza!

It's all about the meat you use, seasonings and how long you actually cook it.

With five guys, this is what is says on their site they use. Five Guys uses 80/20 ground chuck-high quality ground beef containing only steer and heifer meat, which does not include any cow meat or fatty trimmings"

Was actually going to cook up some burgers today with cheese inside the meat patty but opted out and made some awesome sweet and spicy chicken stir fry with white onions, green peppers, mushrooms and jalapeno hot sauce that I stirred in after it was all cooked. Turned out so damn good, ate it on some burger bun.

I went out with a family for pizza. Their children don't eat much. Especially the young one. She's a picky eater and eat little of what she likes. We ordered 2 large pizzas for 4 adults and 2 children. I ended up eating only 2 slices cause the kids each ate 3 slices. Ah~ such a sacrifice for the little ones. Usually I can eat 4 slices.

I crushed it with an amazing meatloaf for the family last night.  No leftovers and my 4 year old had 3 slices!

lightning80 - A Peete's Coffee opened up a close home, they took over a Caribou Coffee. I'll have to try it one time. We have a Nespresso machine at home, so I usually drink that. Espresso with sugar in it. (this is my version of Cuban coffee). I can't find anywhere that sells Cuban coffee in the Northern Virginia area.

^ Coffee Bean and Tea? They closed a number of locations in the past few years. A lot of their coffee/latte drinks were made with powder and I just didn't like that. Starbucks uses syrup and I think it tastes better. I also like Peete's Coffee.

Wish we had a Chik-fil-a up here. I'd cross the border again just for that.

Meanwhile, I'll be having my Hakka chili chicken to get me to stop thinking of chik-fil-a.

lol. After my wife got pregnant, Chik-fil-a was the only place she could eat without throwing up. So we ate there probably 3-4 times a week for at least a month. Still didn't get sick of it. I ate the chicken strips mixed up with spicy chicken sandwich. Of course waffle fries and polynesian sauce. We still eat there a lot.

There's a new craze with Fast-cooked pizzas around here. Instead of waiting more than 10min for traditional pizzas, these fast-cooked ones only take a couple of minutes. For about $9-$10, you can put an unlimited number of toppings, sauces, and cheeses. It's almost like ordering at Subway going through the counter of items. Thumbs Up

There are so many burger shops popping up. Kinda like when all the yogurt shops appeared. We have Smashburger, Krazy burger, Elevation burger, Social burger, Flaming burger, and many more new places. They are all pretty good, but a bit expensive.

I used to love making rice crispy squares when I was a kid until i realized it wasn't worth the effort since I would eat them faster than I can make them. But I don't think I've ever bought the packaged stuff no matter how much i crave them. Just a rip off!

So much fast food lately. I don't know what I'm going to do when we have tiny babies and we won't be able to feed them fast food. How do people decide their dinner menus every day?
