Had some good Pho the other day. Had to goto a different place than my usual. For some reason the restaurant was closed. Hopefully it wasn't closed down for any bad reasons.

The softness threw me off, but the one I had didn't have a lot of meat in it. I couldn't taste any, we could see the mushrooms though.

Today I had pho, and right afterward my friend decided it wasn't enough. He went and purchased 2 bahn mi sandwiches.

If so, I think it might be taro stuffing with chestnuts and mushrooms.

Yep, that's it! Fuzzy fried hair thin stuff on the outside. Not my cup of tea, but I definitely love dim sum.

Dim sum for lunch! Quite good, except for a dish that was fried on the outside, with very mushy stuff on the inside. The inside didn't seem to be potatoes but had the same texture as mashed potatoes. Didn't like that dish.

Carryout from Cheesecake Factory. $45 for two entrees and a slice of cheesecake. Entrees sucked. Slice of cheesecake was awesome. Don't think I'll be carrying out from them again. Although they did a great job of adding bread and utensils to the bag.

Doh! Forgot about the Lunar new year. Oh well.

Had Taco Bell for lunch, with 3 packets of fire sauce for each of my burrito, taco, and chalupa. I think I eat it more for the fire sauce than the tacos.

My regular pastrami sandwich is on rye with Russian sauce and coleslaw.

My mom used to make me corn beef sandwiches on rye with deli mustard. Nothing else in it, but pickle on side. I don't think she even had cheese in it. But I remember it was still good.
