Duck donuts opened up near by. I was surprised at how good they were. The fry your donuts after you order.

^ Dickey's is okay if there's nothing else around.  We have this tiny little restaurant about 2 miles from my house that serves up some great BBQ.  It's more of a take-out place than eat-in, although they do have 4 or 5 tables.

Went to all you can eat Korean BBQ Saturday night for Father's day. It was sooooo good and only came up to just over $100 for 4 adults and 2 kids. On top of that, we got giftcards to the restaurant from Costco, $100 worth for $50. So, basically, we paid $50 plus tips for all 6 of us Clap

Happened to me last night actually... $480 for 4 people and it was only average food. I think the drinks must have been pretty expensive

classic homemade dressing

1. one large garlic clove minced and pressed
2. 2 parts ev olive oil and 1 part balsamic vinegar
3. a glob of good brown whole seed spicy mustard
4. a small glob of good cherry jam (can use any sweetening agent)

lightly dress your salad and hit it hard with fresh cracked black pepper...good to go :)

Over-rated, I thought... I ate there one time when I was still living down in SoCal and had jury duty at downtown LA. It was walking distance from the courthouse so I went there for lunch. Super long lines..more like a mob fighting/elbowing to get to the front to place your order. Then you sit at the picnic bench seats to eat your food. The taste was good, but not sure that it was so good that people have to line up and fight for one... I'd rather get a pastrami sandwich at The Hat. No lines...

Overrated? Was it cuz of the price or portion size? Idk I'm gonna have to give it a go to see for myself. I'll try to avoid the lunch crowd when I do go.

Most Korean restaurants that sell Galbi will have the server cook and cut the meat for you. Good service for the expensive price.

The seasoning is a little different, but the concept is similar: cook your own meat at the table. Personally, I like all the side dishes that come w/ the Korean version.

Dang good job on eating 36 oz. I am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to eat that much.
I went to a Brazilian BBQ all you can eat restaurant and had 7 servings of lamb chops though. Very good. The place we went to was call Chima.
