MIL packed me some bulgogi (marinated beef), spinach, and white kimchi with soup. Good and seems very nutritious. Of course I coulda had some more beef! But it was good and I am thankful for it.

Making some grilled chicken breast with quinoa salad. Still not crazy about quinoa but beats eating white rice.

They probably water down the food that sit in the buffet, to compensate for evaporation. So the non-buffet food will taste more like it's suppose to.

^ Ditto.  The food on a buffet could literally be sitting in that banquet pan for hours before you scoop it up and put it on your plate.  Gross.

I would take dim sum also.

I had Indian food for lunch. It was good but I am so used to eating at Indian buffets. It felt odd paying $14 for one dish and naan.

Butter to coffee? Isn't that Eskimo style? That may take awhile to get used to.
But then again, I hated Pho the first and second time I tried.

Wait a minute, you're the guy who likes free stuff, right?  That must have been painful buying a breakfast only to find out you could have had a free breakfast at the training session.

Going to an Argentinian steak house tonight, looking forward to empanadas for an app and the restaurant's special - Bife El Gaucho.

Edit: they had smoked salmon, hard boiled eggs, pastries, bagels, muffins, yogurt, granola bars, etc...pretty good spread for a training class...

I have been eating leftover hospital food that my wife gets. Not particularly bad, but the cafeteria is expensive. So I over order on her meals and get whats left over. It's quite a hassle to go out and eat, and we can't get delivery. (hmmm maybe we can. lol)
