Yeah its way too much spices for me which also makes the smell really strong. My girlfriend loves it though.

I agree, Indian food has really strong spices and has a unique taste. Their food is really flavorfull.

Indian food the one of the few if not the only cuisine I don't like. A lot of people I know love it but I just don't enjoy it that much. Especially curry, I hate how it smells haha.

Thought I'd share with you guys my own personal recipe for my Hashbrown Casserole:

1 kg bag of frozen hash brown
1 large diced onion
1 cream of mushroom
1 cream of chicken
1 tub of low fat sour cream
1 pack of real bacon bits
2-3 cups of grated cheese (marble or cheddar)

Mix it all up in a large bowl, transfer to backing dish.

Bake for 1 hr at 350 degrees F
or
convection for 1 hr at 325 degrees F

... or until top starts to brown.

I also like to save a bit of grated cheese as topping before putting in the oven.  You can also add or substitute cooked ground beef with the bacon bits.

It's good to pre-cut portions before putting in the oven so the heat will penetrate better.

Enjoy! Big smile

Whenever I chop onions, I chew gum. For some random reason, gum helps prevent your eyes from stinging :)

or you can just get one of these..  I am glad I don't like onions on my burgers..

I tried the gum thing before. It helped but my eyes still burned. I guess I have sensitive eyes. Maybe next time I'll wear my snowboard goggles.
Try swim goggles instead cuz the eyes will be completely sealed. It looks funny but it works.

I was gonna hit up BWW on my last trip to Portland, namely based on their commercials as well, but a friend described it "it's like the McDonalds of chicken wings." I'll still go, eventually, just decided there were better places to go on that trip.

Buffalo wild wings opened up in town. Never tried it but if the experience is anything like the commercials, that'll be awesome.

^^^ chhummystar, not sure what most of that is, but it looks good.  The hot sauce, I'm familiar with, lol.

I just had Taco Bell for the first time in about a year.  Had 5 crunchy tacos.  Not too bad with some Tabasco and verde sauce.

I was a bit skeptical at first, bit watching my friend say he's had it before was comforting.

true. i have this one friend who scrapes off the frosting from every piece of cake she eats.

I have a coworker who eats the whole side of a cake so she can have more frosting.. lol.. in fact she buys frosting in a can.. because according to her that is the only reason she eats cake.. so she didn't wan't the calories from the cake.. fat logic lol

lol imo the frosting from the can tastes worse than the one of the cake.
^^ i love the frosting on mocha cakes.

I scrape off half the frosting of cakes because there's way too much :p

Some cakes are good with a lot of frosting like the strawberry and kiwi which is one of my favorites.
