I ate Hometown buffet today. My friend told me it was geriatric center and I couldn't stop laughing. The food was not that bad, I don't know if I'd go again though. Steak was surprisingly good, mac and cheese was good, everything else was just ok

My daughter had her month overdue birthday sleepover this Saturday and this Sunday I grilled for my father-in-laws birthday.  That came out to 1 family sized 5 meat stuffed pizza, a s'mores dessert pizza and 10 personal size mini murph pizza's from Pappa Murphy's on Satuday Night, followed on Sunday by me cooking 24 pancakes in the morning, 30 burgers and 24 hot dogs.  That's alot of cooking for one day.

But here are a few things I've been enjoying lately:

Fried Spam and Fried Tuna (soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic) with rice:

An awesome burger from Farmer Boys:

Cheese Chips, Cheese Enchiladas, and Carne Chimichanga from Don Tor Taco (used to be Roberto's):

Sin City Burger and Chili Cheese Fries from SmashBurger:

And this Mongolian Stir fry place that is way to far from work:

Your ice cream looks totally melted.  LOL  Speaking of ice cream, a friend of mine opened a Rita's Shaved Ice in South Bay.  Their menu looks pretty darn good.

Most places would give you a discount just for being a member regardless of which tier you're on, but of course the higher the tier the better the benefits.  LOL

crabs legs for buffet are usually found in casinos cuz it's not that cheap for a regular restaurant to have it for buffet unless it's bad quality

I love roast duck.  My sister used to bring it home all the time when she worked at PF Changs.

Tasty, but yeah, can be quite oily.

Last time I had it was at a Chinese buffet.  Might have been duck, not so sure lol.

I just finished eating my breakfast that consisted of oatmeal mixed with turnip greens, onion, bell pepper, chicken and an egg sunny side up.  When I'm hungry I like to just mix what ever seems good atm.

Made some hawaiian ahi poke for dinner. Now I think I'll make some loco moco which is pretty much a beef patty with a fried egg on top over a bed of white rice smothered in gravy. Mmm damn good!

Had turkey burger patties for dinner.  Minus the bun of course.  And a side of black beans.

I honestly think I could give up beef burger patties for turkey burgers.  I really like the taste and texture.

I had subway today and they were HORRIBLE at making it. Maybe cuz it was during lunch rush, but still that's no excuse for less quality product. 4 olives & 4 pickles on a footlong sandwich. I tell her to put everything and she leaves out olives, bell peppers, and banana peppers. I had to tell her before she closed up the sandwich. tsk tsk

Had Baja Fresh..AGAIN...for lunch.  I had 2 chicken tacos on corn tortillas, and 1 steak taco on corn tortillas.  And of course I had the chips with guacamole.

I need to find a Roberto's Taco Shop.  Awesome Mexican quick/fast food place.  I haven't seen any in my part of town.

Love the breakfast buffet's.  It's funny, I didn't realize there was anyone else on here that lived in Vegas.  I know a couple guys that come down often, but didn't know you lived here!

Yep, I grew up in Vegas.  I have been down south for the past few years - much longer than I had planned.

I just moved back to LV about 2 weeks ago.  I'm living at Sahara and 215.  Pretty nice area.

I haven't been to LVSSR in years. I'm definitely going this next season.

On a food related note, I've been eating a lot of spinach lately.  Spinach leaf salads, steamed spinach etc.  It's nice to eat healthy food that you like.  For breakfast I had spinach, turkey and an egg sunny side up. Was pretty good.

Oh yeah...I just moved and went to a different Albertson's to pick up stuff for a party this past weekend and realized I hadn't eaten all day when I saw a huge BBQ setup out front.  Got a rack of ribs for $7.  Not sure if I was just really hungry or what, but those ribs were BOMB!

Closest I've gotten to good all you can eat sushi is the Legend of Asia buffet. They kinda make it fresh LOL it's a hit and miss kind of deal. Gotta go on rush hour to get fresh sushi and they make it in front of you too. Worth the $12 dinner ticket.

Can't upload the photo at the min but will edit tomorrow.

Chickpea, lentil and corn burger patty topped with sour cream on a (burnt) multigrain toasted roll. I cooked what I had in the fridge so cooked some diced onion, tomato, capsicum and shredded carrot and chucked that on there as well

SPeaking of BBQ, smoked a pork loin with some dry rub, sliced it thin and put together a nice little sammich. Topped it with grilled onions, Secret Aardvark sauce, a slice of sharp cheddar and some spinach; then coupled it with baked beans and a Sam Adams "Little White Rye"

Mmm mmm good!

Living in Kansas City, you gotta love BBQ or you're crazy. Celebrating my nephew's graduation and mother's day.

This might sound racist but its not meant to be: I love being an Asian cuz our party food is sooooo good. Way better than burgers and hotdogs

Just got back from brunch at the Red Rock Casino.  Super good food.  Had Prime rib, crab legs, shrimp, fresh salmon, turkey and a ton of other stuff.  I'm stuffed, but I feel good.

They had an omelet bar and breakfast stuff, but I hit up all the good stuff.

Now it's time to get outside and do some serious walking.

Just made some homemade pizza and burnt it a bit. Kind of lost track of time watching Mr. Deeds. Oh well, still tastes good.
