It was super cheesy... I found myself wanting more meat taste though.  Would have been even better with a fried egg and some bacon and mayo.

This actually makes me a little ill haha. Not sure I'd have to minerals to tackle this even on the worst hangover

Just got back from Costco and I got more than I wanted to. Sugar snap peas, coconut h2o, cage Greek yogurt, trail mix, soy milk, oatmeal, granola, strawberries, blueberries, muffins. Super excited to eat for the next 3 weeks :-)

Had Oklahoma Joe for lunch today. Probably the best BBQ joint in KC--they share a space with a gas station and the line is always out the door. It was featured in the food network one time from that one guy that drive around the US to eat food.

I'm assuming by that you mean Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I used to like that show, until I sent them an email suggesting a place in my hometown (Spokane, WA) to go to. It's a place called Frank's Diner, and its a lil breakfast joint built out of an early 1900's train car. Their breakfast is a local legend, but the show's response effectively stated "it [both the town and the restaurant itself] is not good enough for us". They ended up going to Spokane 2 seasons later, and did visit some cool local spots, but avoided Franks entirely.

That sucks! They did that to our other BBQ places too. They featured an entire episode of BBQ on Kansas City and none of the famous local places that all the locals rave about is on the show. I went to random places that I've never heard of too. O well, there might be people paying them to go to certain places.

I don't know if this is considered food, but I'm recently getting into Teavana and I love it a lot. Too bad it's expensive, loose leaf teas, but I'm drinking some Dragon Ball tea, or something and it's really good :-)

Had Baja Fresh again.  Love how they put out cilantro, jalapeno peppers, limes and a bunch of salsas and hot sauces.

Unfortunately, when I went online and looked at the nutritional info, I saw that the steak fajita plate has TONS of salt.  And many of the other items are loaded with salt.

Maybe I will just stick to getting 2 or 3 tacos ala-cart when I eat there.

Had a dinner party at a boss' place last night. He's Indian, and as there are no Indian restaurants within (at least) 60 miles of here, we made a bunch of Indian food. He made a lamb and rice dish that was very good, my gf made some curried cauliflower, dal and peanut rice. I made some mango lassi (that no one drank :( ). Ate an absolute ton.. but it was so worth it!

Pho is best during cold or hot weather?  I would think cold but some people are saying hot.  LOL  I don't know about you but I don't want to be sweating in my pho.  LOL

Just got back from brunch at the Red Rock Casino.  Super good food.  Had Prime rib, crab legs, shrimp, fresh salmon, turkey and a ton of other stuff.  I'm stuffed, but I feel good.

They had an omelet bar and breakfast stuff, but I hit up all the good stuff.

Now it's time to get outside and do some serious walking.

SPeaking of BBQ, smoked a pork loin with some dry rub, sliced it thin and put together a nice little sammich. Topped it with grilled onions, Secret Aardvark sauce, a slice of sharp cheddar and some spinach; then coupled it with baked beans and a Sam Adams "Little White Rye"

Mmm mmm good!

Can't upload the photo at the min but will edit tomorrow.

Chickpea, lentil and corn burger patty topped with sour cream on a (burnt) multigrain toasted roll. I cooked what I had in the fridge so cooked some diced onion, tomato, capsicum and shredded carrot and chucked that on there as well

Closest I've gotten to good all you can eat sushi is the Legend of Asia buffet. They kinda make it fresh LOL it's a hit and miss kind of deal. Gotta go on rush hour to get fresh sushi and they make it in front of you too. Worth the $12 dinner ticket.

Love the breakfast buffet's.  It's funny, I didn't realize there was anyone else on here that lived in Vegas.  I know a couple guys that come down often, but didn't know you lived here!

Oh yeah...I just moved and went to a different Albertson's to pick up stuff for a party this past weekend and realized I hadn't eaten all day when I saw a huge BBQ setup out front.  Got a rack of ribs for $7.  Not sure if I was just really hungry or what, but those ribs were BOMB!

Yep, I grew up in Vegas.  I have been down south for the past few years - much longer than I had planned.

I just moved back to LV about 2 weeks ago.  I'm living at Sahara and 215.  Pretty nice area.

I haven't been to LVSSR in years. I'm definitely going this next season.

On a food related note, I've been eating a lot of spinach lately.  Spinach leaf salads, steamed spinach etc.  It's nice to eat healthy food that you like.  For breakfast I had spinach, turkey and an egg sunny side up. Was pretty good.

Had Baja Fresh..AGAIN...for lunch.  I had 2 chicken tacos on corn tortillas, and 1 steak taco on corn tortillas.  And of course I had the chips with guacamole.

I need to find a Roberto's Taco Shop.  Awesome Mexican quick/fast food place.  I haven't seen any in my part of town.

I had subway today and they were HORRIBLE at making it. Maybe cuz it was during lunch rush, but still that's no excuse for less quality product. 4 olives & 4 pickles on a footlong sandwich. I tell her to put everything and she leaves out olives, bell peppers, and banana peppers. I had to tell her before she closed up the sandwich. tsk tsk

Had turkey burger patties for dinner.  Minus the bun of course.  And a side of black beans.

I honestly think I could give up beef burger patties for turkey burgers.  I really like the taste and texture.

Made some hawaiian ahi poke for dinner. Now I think I'll make some loco moco which is pretty much a beef patty with a fried egg on top over a bed of white rice smothered in gravy. Mmm damn good!

Going out tonight for some crab legs buffet dinner with friends to celebrate our promotions. Oddly enough all of the crab legs buffets we have here are located inside the casinos.

Isn't that the norm?  Dunno if the casino you're going to does this but if you have a casino membership there and if you pay for your buffet meal in cash then you can get like 20% off your bill.  Try it because if your tab comes out to 200 bucks then you can save yourself 40 bucks.  LOL

Roast duck for dinner. So many bones. Good thing we brought it home and cooked it a lil more to let the oil drip cuz that stuff is oily.
is it just me? or is common sense not that common.

I love roast duck.  My sister used to bring it home all the time when she worked at PF Changs.

Tasty, but yeah, can be quite oily.

Last time I had it was at a Chinese buffet.  Might have been duck, not so sure lol.

I just finished eating my breakfast that consisted of oatmeal mixed with turnip greens, onion, bell pepper, chicken and an egg sunny side up.  When I'm hungry I like to just mix what ever seems good atm.
