That would have been helpful a few weeks ago since I was there on vacation during the July 4 week :-( oh well, I still had a blast without that app :-)

Has anyone been to Sushiritto in SF? Near the Financial District.

It's on my list of things to eat next time I make it down from Tahoe.

Went to burger's priest last night and had the high priest burger. So far, easily a top 3 burger ever had in my life! If anyone ever wants a burger in T.O. that's the place. Also having a hot cashier with massive jugs behind the counter helps too.

Had some spicy goat stew, I think I would of liked it better if it wasn't so spicy.  As to where they got the goat, beats me.

Had half of a thincrust proscuitto/pear blue cheese pizza and with a steak/mushroom melt for dinner. Couldn't enjoy it when you've got a crew just eyeing your food like hawks.

Family house parties are the best because you get to see everyone you normally don't have time to see, but also all the good homemade food ... or catered :-)

But family house party foods are usually mass produced ones, but I guess they're still tasty nonetheless.  LOL  Going over to my cousin's house for some homemade cajun dishes for lunch.

So I had this really good BBQ chicken and sausage on a plastic plate in the car, friend slams on the brakes and it flies everywhere with BBQ sauce. Now Im not gonna eat it so I didn't care that the dog was sniffing it. It put the sausage in its mouth, then spit it out and just sniffed the chicken. Didnt think it was gonna eat any of it so we just kept driving. When we got home and started unloading the car, we couldn't find the chicken drumstick, I couldn't find the bone anywhere. The dog ate the whole thing ... Uh oh. Oh well, his fault :-(

Out of all the baguettes, I like how Lees does it with their crunchy bread and light on the soy sauce.  All the other baguette places always use too much soy sauce and their bread always ends up mushy after awhile.

I had a double double animal style with chopped chili peppers for lunch Big smile.

As for Vietnamese sandwiches, I don't really like the crunchy bread part. The top of my mouth always hurt after eating it. I would like it more if the bread was softer, at least the crust part...

Your lunch sounds good. The Lee's sandwiches aren't that good for me to die over. I also don't like how hard the bread is

Korean taco trucks are really good, portos is really good: you have to get the guava cheese pastry. I think In N Out is better than 5 guys, but that's just me

Yea the fries are amazing! But not crazy for the burger though.

Looks like I'll have to make a stop at In and Out as well and see what all the talk is about. Try to fit this Portos in too.

So on the list is:
Phillipe's
Boiling crab
Korean taco trucks
In and out
Portos

Its looking more like a food tour.

I would think an irish-boarder would be Irish stew with a Guinness for dinner.

I'm making chicken fajitas tonight.  My gf picked up a 6 of Negra Modelo to go with dinner, it's always nice to pair an appropriate beer with dinner.

^^Von - where in LA are you going? The biggest advice u will hands down be happy to get: do not go to Boiling Crab during dinner time. The wait can be anywhere from 1-1.5 hrs long, and people will cut in front of you and you wont know it. So I suggest you eat there for early dinner or non busy times, like before 5pm to be safe. I was there 1.5 hrs before they closed and I barely got sat done before they closed.

How very prejudice, stereotypical but amusingly true and good craic all the same. Irish stew and Guinness is a great part of a staple diet no mater what anyone says.

Prejudiced?  No.  Stereotypical?  Yes.

I had Irish Stew in Galway and again in Sligo many years ago.  I can't say I enjoyed it, the lamb was quite gamy, I guess my taste buds are used to over-processed American foods.

I guess I'm the only one that like's Lees hard bread.  One of my uncle tried Lees before and hurt his mouth on the bread so he vowed never to eat Lees again.  LOL  I would like In n Out better if they would give the option of putting bacon in their burgers, otherwise I would prefer Five Guys plus their buns just melts in your mouth.  LOL
