Heating up a stromboli. This thing is basically a pizza rolled up. Pastrami, ground beef, cappicollo, spicy italian sausage, mozzarela and provolone cheese, onions, mushrooms and green pepper.

The steak from Texas Roadhouse was so good that I had to pick up some 1.5in thick bacon wrapped serloins to grill this weekend:

Free food is usually always good. 4-5 layers of lettuce, 4 different slices of cheese, 2 tomatoes, 3 pickles, condiments, and veggie burger

I decided our next epic meal would be "sponsored" by Pepsi...

3 medium signature pizzas (supreme, chicken supreme, and meat lovers), 3 chicken quesadillas, 2 fries supremes, 8 pieces of chicken (all dark), 1 large gravy --> split 6 ways, 4 slices each.  Dead

The best part, all at one location! LOL

All came to just $73 CAD! (including 1 refillable fountain drink each)

Yes, it was delicious... in an overwhelming sort of way.

Pistachios are awesome and worth the hassle, even when you get that one lousy shell that doesn't have a crack.

Have you ever had pistachio-encrusted salmon?  It's wonderful...

I don't understand.  What do you mean all at one location? You made these yourself right?

Oh, there's a Taco Bell attached to a KFC attached to a Pizza Hut not too far from where I live. Smile  That's what I meant by one location.  We ate in the restaurant.

I guess I'm lucky that I have a grocery store down the road that sells bags of pistachios out of the shells. I love eating pistachios, but I get tired of opening them.

Anybody know of a good Jewish/NY Deli in the Sacramento area? Sam's Kosher Deli was supposed to the best in town, and it was pretty disappointing. I miss Brent's in Northridge and Thousand Oaks/Westlake...Cry

That's the beauty of it, they sell two pound bags out of the shells for less than a tin with the shells on! I'd swear they have a sweat shop somewhere in town.

My kids always want to help cook, so I had them mix the sauce and spices into the 85% lean ground beef for burger last night so I didn't have to get my hands dirty.
They FREAKED OUT when they were done..."Why do my hands feel so slimey!?  It won't come off!?"

Pistachios are really good for you.
They sell pistachios without shells now. If not, grab a nutcracker.

Since we're talking about nuts, remember the Corn Nuts radio commercial?

Speaking of ribs, the buffet I just ate at had the best ribs ever!  The meat peeled off the bones so easily and was moist and tender.  Funny how I expected to gain weight the next day but I ended up losing a third of a pound instead.  LOL

I haven't had that before, I don't think, but I make hotdog fried rice :-) spicy sometimes also. One thing that i just did last week was: after I was done eating boiling crab, I took the leftover sauce home. Then used it to season my spicy hot dog fried rice. Soooooo yummy

Smart. I might even try asking for an extra bag of sauce to take home next time. That stuff is addicting.

Also verdict on the spaghetti and hotdogs... Not very nutritional but pretty damn good! Tonight i'm back to the chinese takeout. Beef and flat noodles yum.
