I know that feel! My office supplies us with unlimited sweets and my office is right next to the kitchen. I have a problem.

A little self control goes a long way.  LOL  I was munching on cheese and crackers but had to stop myself before I eat the whole pie of cheese.   Embarrassed

It does. That's my one cheat day for every two months.

If anyone is from SoCal then you should head to the Inland Empire by Ontario Mills Mall and check out  the new The Luxe Buffet.  It's 22 bucks with a wide selection and gourmet cooking unlike the other buffets that likes to skimp on the ingredients.  They offer lobster, king crab legs, sashimi (tuna, salmon, squid, etc), rolls (unagi, crunchy, etc), ribs, roast, etc.  They even have random stuff like frog legs and sea cucumber.  LOL  I got stuffed only at the sushi stand.  LOL  The only problem is that the place is always packed.

Thanks for the reminder, I'll have to keep this in mind during lunch.  My girlfriend will keep me in line at dinner time - we'll probably go out for fish.

Dickey's BBQ has been the best BBQ I've had outside of Texas, where I grew up. Dickey's is a chain that's based in Dallas and all use the same recipes/cooking methods. My favorite meat there is the pork ribs and favorite side is coleslaw. They also have free whole pickles (they used to have a jar next to all the condiments, but now you have to ask for them at some locations). They also have free soft-serve ice cream for free.

Either way, not many bbq places up here north of the border. And where there are ones, they charge a ridiculous price for a full slab.

Lol looks like someone's on a diet. Then again, that'll probably run you a mere $10 as opposed to up here in TO where that'd be in the $40-50 range.

Last summer, when we went down to SoCal on vacation, we picked up a box of cheese rolls in Burbank on the drive back up to NorCal. I don't think they made it out of the Grapvine...Tongue
