Yeah it was called parenting. I wouldn't trust strangers feeding my kids either. Who knows how the food was handled.

But that's like saying you would never go out to eat either because some stranger is cooking the food unless you're saying it's okay for you to eat poison but not your kids.  LOL

That's not true. I would go out to eat but not every day. There's a reason why child obesity rates has become the number 1 health concern in the US. Not saying that school cafe food is the main cause but it's a partial reason due to the food they serve.

Sister in law made some homemade yogurt which is supposedly healthy according to my cousins and aunts but I just don't see it considering it is made out of milk and condensed milk.  LOL

Didn't eat anything all day so I picked up a huge halibut burrito on my way home. An hour later, only made it halfway through. Tapping out.

I was never a fan of halibut, or maybe I'm just too picky with fishes.  I only like salmon, catfish, tilapia and sometimes tuna.

Really? I think halibut is the best fish to eat that doesn't give off the fishy taste plus its light in texture.

It was so good I had it again during lunch.  Wink

Tilapia is grown in nasty conditions in the south pacific, usually being fed only chicken dropings and other nasty things.  I stay away from that fish.  Wild caught salmon though is some good eating.

That may be true but the asian markets love to fry the hell out of it.  LOL  Salmon is the only fish that I can actually enjoy eating raw or cooked.  I'm in the mood to eat fish now.  LOL

^ Lol  I know you just didn't say that.

Fish sticks is not a type of fish. It's just a way cooking it. And really not much cooking involved either especially when you roll it in batter and then deep fry it. Seriously hope that was a joke.

haha Wink.   I think most fish sticks are "cod" but i don't really care much for fish.  When it is covered in breading and covered in some dipping sauce it normally covers up most of the fish flavor.

Mmmmm, sponges... lol, no.  Tofu is a soybean product full of lean plant-based protein.  Prepared correctly it's actually pretty good.

Depends on how you cook it, if you fry it then it's like a sponge but if you keep it in it's jelly form then it's like jelly or pudding.

Try freezing your tofu (medium firm) for a few days before you cook it in a soup. The expansion of ice will make pores all through the tofu and make it act like a sponge, soaking all of the flavors of the soup.

Yeah, we do the freezing tofu trick whenever we do spicy hotpot. It's amazing how much flavor/heat is soaked up in there.

I've never heard of junior chicken...like...baby chicken? Confused
