I'm taking the same $199 deal for Sept 24th weekend, hope there is some snow left. I see they predict snow this coming Fri/Sat so hope there is more on the way.
My mates have bought the freedom pass, Im very tempted. $60 for skitube aswell is great value! |

Purchased mine yesterday - with the 2013 rate guarantee Perisher is finally looking long term at it's customers.
Very curious to see if Thredbo make a similar move.

applaud them for trying something different to draw people in
that price for season tickets is actually viable thredbo will counter they always do only with something similar or equivalent anyway maths time assuming 1 day pass doesnt rise again 699 = 6.5~ days so you will need to go 7 days to break even. doing the 6 hour drive (1 way) 3 times a season is about the max ill go down mainly due to petrol and accommodation! |

Got mine, like you humdingaling it takes me about 6 hours from Sydney.
We usually make 2 trips a year to Perisher, and one trip to NZ. As we have the season pass will give NZ a miss next year. Since I usually get the skitube up, cost is $138pp per day. Pass incl. SkiTube is $759 6 days x 138 = $828, so im saving with 6 days. Any extra days are a bonus the way I see it. Its also cheaper to add the tube for 2 ppl than the cost of a yearly park entry. For me it will give me motivation to make the trip down south more often. |

You are actually correct - Thredbo came out today with the exact same deal. Would be nice to organise a meet sometime! I'm heading there this Friday night after work for the weekend. PM me if you guys wanna organise a meet up @ Perisher 10th& 11th Sept (we're all okay riders so would be great to get some footage :D) |

Best value ever, I've been down 2ce now, already saved $54 on the skitube instead of national park fees and nearly $300 off lift tickets. And every single free weekend I have I can just head down. Over the long weekend I cruised down for Sunday and Monday after being out on Sunday.. just because I could. Loving it! (even if it has been a bit crowded atm, but hopefully with Blue Cow opening the crowds will disperse..
