I'm almost done with high school and I want to spend a season working somewhere in colorado after I finish. I'll probably work at home in the summer before I leave, but I'll still need some kind of part-time work at least.
Can anyone offer any thoughts or advice? I'm not set but I am looking at Breckenridge as it seems like living there would be more affordable than other places, and there are a lot of places that might offer jobs. I'm still not sure about if its best to stay somewhere else and bus in if that's convenient, which resort to look at, what kind of jobs I should look for, etc. If anyone knows of any agencies or places that would be good to send an application to, please share. Thanks and also if anyone else has done this or is looking to do this feel free to share your experience |

I know copper winter park and steamboat are all hiring right now. I have apps in at all of them, copper got to the interview point but then I found out their employee housing isnt dog friendly so i had to turn them down.
Steamboat is having a job fair September 30th. Don't know about breck or vail or any of them, I put in a few apps there but havent heard back. Best place to start is filling out online applications.

come out with at least a thousand in savings because I really don't see you getting any kind of decent gig being that you are 18. |

Well if he moved to Aspen, he could turn a pretty good buck making the Cougars and Sabertooth's happy...

You have to save time for the Wookies as well in some of these ski towns. And if you're going to get a respectable job, you can't come into work everyday (and after lunch) looking like you've been sloppy eating a dozen glazed donuts
