I saw this goggle in the new Art of Flight movie. Looks pretty sick. Anyone has this?

Pretty neat. Not worth the money for me though. But the ideas of 180 periph and not being able to see any goggle frame are not new, I feel like that's been the goal for a number of years now.

i actually was interested in looking for these after seeing the movie. they look pretty sweet, and like they offer wide vision with a lower profile. i don't really like eg2's because they're so big on my head when i've tried them on, maybe these would be better.

Im gonna get myself some hubbles once they come out... Im liking the white and blue ones to be honest, and I guess when I get them I will probably leave a review on the forum and the review space if TS gets them.
I need goggles this season, but I am not spending another 200 dollars on a nice set of Oakleys like I did a few years ago... I think the hubbles are ranging from 140-160? If that is the case, it is still more affordable than some oakleys....

hopefully TS sells them. I'd like to demo them and see how much better the vision is compared to crowbars.

if it doesn't work with the earflaps in you could always take them off and just wear a beanie under or whatever you really want... could give a little extra room for the goggle... worst comes to worst, you might have to buy a quiksilver helmet, which i see as kinda pointless if you already have a solid helmet...

They are available in Europe, but not yet in the US I don't think.
They will have a black and blue colorway with a blue lens priced at 140, and then they will have two T.Rice models, one in the Red/Black colorway with a red lens, and then one in the White colorway with a blue lens, both priced at 160 I believe.
![]() ![]() I am not sure if they are selling lenses separate, although I'm sure you could call quiksilver and have them send you lenses, of course for a price. Most companies will probably do that if you have the right amount to offer.
As far as multilayered and normal lenses, I am guessing multilayer lenses have extra layers to maybe refract light to prevent UV radiation, glare, etc... I guess similar to polarized lenses, though I am likely wrong on this one.

really? i think they look sick. the thing i like is that they seem lower profile than other HUGE goggles, like EG2's and Anon Comrades. Trying those on feels weird, like you can't move your head as quickly because they stick out so far and are so big. the hubbles look thinner, like they would fit better. however, the quality of quiksilver lenses hasn't really be tested to a great degree.

I like how they don't look bulky like the eg2's or the i/o's. I might have to pick up a pair once they come out! I'm still an Oakley fanboy to the bone though..

Yeah, Travis also uses it, as well as endorses it, because it is the worst goggle out there. It is probably a very solid goggle, as Quiksilver makes high quality outerwear, goggles, and such. Might not be a brand name like Oakley when it comes to goggles, but Quiksilver can definitely hold there own. When the white/blue ones are available, I am getting them and will probably put a review up in the forums on them so everyone can hear my input. It is always good to see new innovations with snowboarding gear as it shows progress and that the sport is improving.

i saw a pair (or two) at the quiksilver store in germany. they looked so small! and the shape was really convex. i didn't dare to try them on though, so maybe they're ok once they're on your head.

I think if Travis was wearing em they're gunna be expensive for that reason only, plus I dunno how the quality of the lense is with Quicksilver compared to someone...say Oakley? But they do look nice! |

They aren't expensive because Travis uses them, they are expensive simply because they are a high quality goggle. You pay for tech alone, not for brand name, not for performance, not because a pro wears them.

Anyone end up getting this goggle? Im interested in getting one with the best peri vision and frame as possible. EG 2.5 is good but you still see the frames

have you tried the eg2s? there's a bit of distortion at the edges whereas the eg2s dont have any distortion. if the eg2s fit you then i would go that route. sport chalet has the hubble if you want to try it on.

I have them, and love them. They are solid and I will likely be keeping them for the next couple seasons. The peripherals on them are great, and unless I focus really hard, frames are never an issue. They were fully compatible with my helmet (until the helmet got stolen), and they are clear and rarely fog up. The lenses also are great against the sun, rarely ever have problems with glare. Other than that, they are durable. Pretty much everything I needed in a goggle.

I got the black/blue lens today for this coming season.
I would like to say they are the BEST goggle I've ever used. Ive owned smith i/o, crowley, A fram, EG 2, EG 2.5 By far its the one with the best peri vision without it pinching my nose. It feels comfortably as there are no pressure anywhere on my face. |
