what do you think of this? 8 and 9 yr olds fighting in ufc style matches while the adults place bets... i know in thailand kids leave home as early as 3 years old to go train and fight in thai boxing matches for money. This is in the UK though...

I would think there would not enough power in the punches or kicks.
There for making it an ugly fight. not worth it. every match will be grappling.
no
oh yeah, they're kids. so no again

well l think the mian issue is that you shouldnt be subjecting children to fighting and placing bets on it. over time they would assume it would be fine to go and punch someone because there was so much adults looking and didnt do anything. hurt or not, still fighting

I'd be good with it as long as the kids aren't throwing elbows and knees. Kids do Karate, it's pretty much the same thing as that with some jits and wrestling thrown in.
Obviously it should be organized, and not in some random dudes backyard. Also the kids should be trained, not just two young kids who have never trained before. |

So are the kids currently fighting now in the UK? If so where exactly?
In reference to Thailand, that's a different story from the UK. People in Thailand are either rich or poor. There technically is no Middle Class income. When parents cannot afford to keep there children due to whatever reason they may have, parents will "lease" out their children for that reason. Do I support it? No. I do not. |

I don't see anything wrong with kids fighting in the octagon as long they follow the same rules. when you learn any fighting style its still all about discipline and restraint.
it would be the same as sparring with young boxers/karate/judo etc... only change would probably be some head gear and limit the hammer fists haha

8/9 might be a little bit young for full contact, but I've taught jujutsu to kids that age and thought it was fine. I started wrestling at 13, so I see no problem with children in contact sports.

have you ever seen muay thai fighting. they start out at the age of like 3 and get turned into killing machines. when they fight, thats literally how there parents earn money. I see nothing wrong with it
