Not sure if cbk does but JFBB has wednesdays $25 for full day and 15 for a night pass (just boulder 3p-9p). Last year they had family and friends night on sunday's $15 3-9pm for anyone but I'm not sure if they have that again this year, it doesn't say on their website so they might have dropped it. |

i like MC south, they have a decent park and it's the cloest to NY. Most of the time if i go riding. it will be Blue mountain, the slopes are longer than Camelbak, and M.C. i always go with a group and it's only 44buck for a whole day ticket

Just saw that Hunter Mountain and Blue Mountain will start making snow tonight...FINALLY! I can't wait.

I prefer Blue Mountain out of all the PA spots. They have decent park features.

i knows ive been saying the same thing. good news is that blue is expecting 4-6 inches of natural snow tonight, and hunter is expecting 5-6. i also heard that hunter is planning to open this weekend. i was hoping to go, but not sure if the long drive and the small amount of terrain that will be open will be worth it.

Mountain Creek is the best in NJ, I also think it beats the Poconos as well. I certainly like it better than Camelback.
It's a little bit further for me to get to the ones in NY though, so I haven't been.

Actually, I'm spending the weekend in NY for new years near Bellaire, so I'll give that mountain a two day try and let you know how it goes.

Mountain Creek has some nice features and its great for park. But I think it gets insanely crowded, even more so than most of the other resorts in the area...at least from my own personal experience. I'll most likely be doing my week night riding at Creek this season. As for Camelback, I've only been there once I believe and didn't get to do much exploring. I'm hoping to get out there more often this year.

Check out the glades, also Cathedral Brook which is a half mile hike from the top of Superchief, it's an ungroomed trail which is great if there's fresh snow. You can hit Area 51, the terrain park, off Lift 7 getting off midway. Hopefully by New Year's we'll have some snow.

Anyone been to hunter, windham or belleayre since they opened?
I'm planning a trip to hunter this weekend but hope the conditions aren't terrible. Looks like only a handful of trails are open at each one. Anyone if it is worth the 2.5 hour drive for me |

I didn't go, but some of the reviews on the Belleayre Facebook page were not good. Only half of Onteora was open, that's mid station of Lift 7. I'll probably go this weekend, unless the wind picks up enough to go kiteboarding.
