That's just how we roll in Ohio man... They are badass, well on paper at least. My friend has them on his scion and he loves them. Went from a 225/60/16 to 225/65/16. You can feel the difference in higher speed cornering, and once you get over about 78 on the spedo (just feels a bit sluggish). Within the first few miles I was kind of worried that I effed up and that extra .7 of an inch of extra aspect ratio was going to make the car drive like shit, but after realizing we normally don't go over 75, or corner hard I'm not worried about it. Pretty easy to get used to though (just don't speed too much, and take it easy on those off/on ramps haha) after driving around a little today. Rides really smooth though which will be nice for our many 5+ hour drives up along the lakes.

I also had a little talk with the lady about them, although she normally drives super slow in the corners. Really looking forward to putting her new subi to the test this year. On the trip list this year includes WV/PA/VT/ and just about the entire state of NY. Going to be nice getting to our friends house out in the middle of nowhere Southern NY this year. There were a few hairy times last year trying to plow our way to his house. His road doesn't really get plowed much, and it isn't uncommon to tackle a 2ft drift or three along the way.

And shooey, nope, no rub at all! I have checked every single spot of the tire vs. wheel well and while it is close, there is zero issue with any rub. I do fear that there will be a few spots where slush will built up super fast, but from everything I have read on some subi forums, you can fix that problem by getting some nice (and thin) rubber mud flaps and removing certain parts of the plastic in the wheel wells and replacing it with essentially the same material the flaps are made out of. Not only will this give me about another 1/4 to 1/2 inch of room on each side of the tire, but make the surface area in the wells super smooth=a harder surface for things to build up. Can only really make that call though once the first snow shows up. So it looks like I might have a few weeks to draw up some templates and sharpen some blades

Yeah, we got it for my gf's dad. I used it a couple of time to "test." I think my eyes bleed because I was sitting 5ft away. So huge and I cant move my eyes fast enough to go from one side of the screen to the other. Playing video games is awesome on this! Now I want one even though I don't watch TV...
