Well let us know what you think of it when you ride it. Sounds like that board is really light.

I have that same vapor and I owned the prior year as well. It is not the lightest board in the market or on Burton's line up. It is a really nice all mountain board even though it is supposed to be a half pipe board.

The flex on that year felt a little softer than the prior year but it has more pop. I don't know how they did that but it was a nice upgrade (specially considering I got it for free)

I don't think it is worth $1200. You can get almost the same board buying a CustomX.

So it's basically an over priced custom x? Even though its got a 5 feel rating and the x has 7. If that's true. Then I'll keep the 2012 custom x I just bought in mint condition for 168 shipped.

That's an awesome price for the custom X. If you gotta chose between a used vapor and a new custom X at the same price I would go with the vapor because I feel the customX is a lil too stiff. But at that price ($150) I would just get the CustomX

I bought both vapor and custom x (slightly used) -- I was just wondering if its worth keeping the vapor since djmaya said better off buying a custom x. I will sell one of the two - definitely at a profit ;)

i would honestly check them both out. I know you want to kinda ninja in before the season starts while buying hype is at its max, and the less you ride it the less chance for a ding or scratch, but the opportunity to test ride both the custom x and the vapor seems too good to miss. Plus itll tell you which one suits YOU more. You own them both, theyre both already used, so aside a ding, youre not going to lose too much value by waiting (the biggest drops already happened), so really you just have to fight your impatience on it so you can check them both out.

If that doesnt appeal, but them both up for sale at a significant mark up and if someone bites then fate has decided for you :)

Well said ippollite. I will definitely wait to test out the vapor. I know what the custom x feels like I've demo'ed a couple of different years custom x's. plus I figure 330 shipped for the custom x will be a good sale. I hope the vapor is what it's promised to be. I'm tired of buying and selling boards. Started in 06. Bought an sold about 10 average each year. I've tried a lot. My true love is a 2011 custom 148 with an all black top deck and typical black and blue custom bottom which I got for $80 shipped last season. But a 155 is the perfect fit for me so I've got high hopes for the vapor.

hated my smith I/O.  They look good, but I tried 3 different sets of sensor lenses (different colors, too) and all kept fogging like crazy, between the lenses.  Hope they fixed this sh*t for 2013.

Tried on a few goggles at the shop.  Most of them (electric, VZ, etc) have way too thick face foam and/or didn't fit my (big) nose right.  They didn't have Zeal, so I bought some online (automatic lens).  Not real flashy, but form follows function...especially in goggles (hopefully I won't have to return them).

Snagged a used pair of these flylow pants at the Backcountry in truckee for $60, best part is they came with a pair of stretchy suspenders some dude had rigged up.

3L fabric, double vents and bomber reinforcing, I think these are going to be perfect.

Darts are trouble wherever.  In college we had a dartboard next to the hallway in our house and I caught one to the head during a party.  Just went under the skin above my skull but I was plenty pissed off and threw a fit nonetheless ... MommehK I'm skeptical about the laces interface on those burton wheelie boots so let us know what you think.

And here's an actual picture of those flylow pants I tried to paste above, it's a skiier brand I admit

I have the dialogues from 09 in the black/white colorway. Love these boots. super comfy and have great amount of flex- great for riding park! Still keep'em as my back-up boots.

the current dialogues and those from 09 are a completely different boot.

I loved the fit and size of the 09, but the new ones are much more sturdy and have a bunch of new tech features.  They're also a lot larger, which I found too bulky for me.  The good is that they'll undoubtedly last longer than the 09, which I only got about 50 days out of before they were completely flexed and packed out.

I also got a brand new pair of ZF1 recently from a member here. For a pretty good deal. They are so comfortable and fit my foot so well.

They are these ones:

I love my stomp pad as much as my board!! heheehee

bry: the BOA isn't a traditional style...kinda weird, roll the wheel to loosen/tighten, but pull the tab at the top for quick release. I'm not sure how it's going to work & stay tight while strapped in...they are really freaking comfy though.

That's good to know.  I was a little worried when it was mentioned that they were perfect for park riding.  I know they're not super stiff, but I was going for something with medium support that will be good all-mountain.  Too bulky?  Eh, we'll see.  So far I love 'em, especially because of the wide size, and the fact that they come in size 12.5.  It's soooo hard to find a 12.5 but Bobo's hooked it up!

Decided to go with the Ride Capo for my 3000 pt reward level.  Had it narrowed down to Ride Capo, Salomon Chief, Union SL, Burton Triad, and a few others.  Settled on the Capo because of the stiffness/aggressiveness, comfort & responsiveness.  Oh and also I really really wanted to try a canted footbed, since these will go on my reverse Crew.

Also got this Sierra T with 200 pts from another username...
