I just did the whole "add as many as you can to the shopping cart before it explodes" game with some of the reverse crews.

It was fun. You cant do it by adding them to the inventory, (i think the free gift prevents you adding ore than 5) but you can do it AFTER youve added them and gone to your shopping cart. Just keep pumping the numbers in and having a good laugh. It cant be accurate. Well, it could be. But it cant...

But it could be. LOL

Just tried it with some other brands and got more down to earth numbers. They only have ONE evil twin in 154 though... better get on that if you want it. Looks like the house and TruSnow dont share inventory quite yet. Maybe they gave them a few to try and flog... or maybe they really do only have one tiny evil twin to share between them :(

ETA2: the house has only 2 evil twins avilable in 154.
ETA3: Got a very similar reverse crew 155 figure before the house's shopping cart went into melt down. Oooooh! after 2 or 3 minutes of hanging, just got an exact figure of 155 reverse crews at the house. :) (ps the 155 refers to the size of the deck, not the amount of 155 crews available).
ETA4: The house will tell you EXACTLY how many boards they have. Just add them to your cart and change the figure to something astronomical. 2 seconds later youll get a max amount.
ETA5: COMPARATIVELY SPEAKING there arent many 158 Crews left (regular camber). Just had a look at the 152 and similar story. A few more of them (double figures 'few') but nonetheless those boards will probably be gone by the end of this season i reckons. (still a fair few 156's though).
ETA6: Dont worry about reverse crews, stunts, and vspots. You might as well throw in the bluebird as well. Seems like plenty of them. If you are thinking about the 158 crew, i wouldnt honestly shtook about. Its pretty much gone maybe even before the start of this season.
ETA7: loads of L/xL S90 bindings left. Less S/M (though still loads). If you want the green ones though, they have about 2.4 times less in small than the yellow ones. Actually, same story on the l/xLs. No one wants the yellow ones it seems :)

For how much longer will 2010 snowboards be in stock? Like the 2010 Sierra Crew?

And for those who complain about having to pay S&H for FREE stuff, don't redeem your coupon.

Entitlement? The rewards are a clear marketing strategy and there's give and take in the seller/customer relationship. You mistake rewards with something done out of the goodness of Sierra/TruSnow's heart. Active bought Sierra and assumed its debt strictly as a business decision to capitalize on Sierra's huge membership base that came directly out of these giveaways and sales. If the rewards were clearly laid out to be limited to older items, sure, then maybe people would be offbase.

I'm ambivalent either way...I'd be more annoyed if TruSnow was being manipulative and sketchy on these giveaways. I think they're just experiencing the growing pains of assuming control of a previously out of control business.

This is got to be a non-argument.  We all knew from countless threads beforehand that we didn't rate discounts on 2012 gear.....

Come on guys, if you have money to buy new gear with no vendor's discount, i think you wouldn't have problems with buying it without member's discount. Still TruSnow is offering great prices and deals. And if you are short on money - buy previous collections. It's not a big deal!

arf arf! good sound structure if you ask me. Actually what i would do is follow something more akin to the hermeneutic circle. Start from a point of consensus and understanding, and slowly add to it and keep swarming around it until you end up at the exact same point you started at only with a slightly deeper understanding.
This is of course the ideal. In reality its a thousand words (if youre lucky) of tangents, pointless opinions, contradiction and evasion. Maybe ill reference the main point every now and again. Hermeneutic circle!

These are big ideas.  And this is a long thread.  But I like Ipp's post.  Even with these days of wikipedia, I am still unable to understand hermaneutic circle.  And I was an english major at some point.  Ima stick to the the inverted pyramid.  But thanks . . . and woof!

Nothing has changed with the program, there was just an issue where 2012 gear was discounted and free gear coupons worked on them, they werent supposed to and never have before so the only thing that changed is something that was never supposed to be there in the first place.

Edit:

I can;t say never as I have only been here since 08, but since then that's hows it been. Even in the sierra days I couldn't use my free goggle coupon for new goggles.

^^ I'm just hoping there's still a hefty pile of Union Forces to choose from then...
But then again, good for them if they sell out quick.

I think TruSnow should put into the member discount area a disclosure about the coupons not being good for early season goods if the coupons do expire.  This way people can plan properly as to when to cross a reward threshold.  It would be a drag to earn a reward and then having nothing in stock to cash it in on.  That being said I got a free pair of Malavitas at the end of last year and am very grateful for it.

I got my Bindings from Sierrasnowboard (9/21/2009), so just the same season as now. I wanted force SL 2010 but they new the new model so I got union data 2009 bc they were the old model. This is nothing new SS did the same thing. It is not the switch over. The different is SS would clear out old stuff fast so they would lets you get the newer binding soon bc they didn't have stuff that would work.

I still miss Circuit City (Sierra), but I don't stand outside Best Buy (Trusnow) screaming and crying because they don't offer the deals CC used to.

That I don't know, but it probably got changed along with a lot of stuff when the site switched over.

My point is getting all pissed at Doug and the staff for stuff like this is misplaced rage.  I'm sure if it was up to them, all the things Sierra used to do would still be in effect.  Unfortunately it's the contracts that dictate what they can and can't do with their gear, and if they don't follow them, there will be no more company.  Not following the contracts in is what screwed Sierra and forced them to declare bankruptcy in the first place, and ultimately sell to The House.

will you be able to reactivate your coupon at the end of the season when the 2012 products go on sale?

and there are no bindings that would fit me.

i think they give you 30 days to use it and then its gone.

If you can't stand this site, the free stuff they give, or the stuff they have in stock QUIT B!TCHING AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

The responses I am seeing in these threads make me sick.

In my year and a half I have visited this site I have:
Won a free snowboard
Gotten a free shirt
Gotten a free pair of Oakley goggles
Gotten a free pair of bindinds.

My wife has also won a free snowboard.

If you can name ONE other site I could go to right now that would give me the chance at any of this stuff I would shocked.

SHUT THE FK UP YOU WHINEY BABIES AND STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT FREE STUFF!!!

If you hate it so bad here and think it's so unfair go elsewhere, but complaining about it daily is a waste of time and childish.

Just an Idea here, maybe the coupons should be opened up more items in the store.  Instead of $200 towards just bindings it could also be used on outerwear, boots or whatever just as long as its 2011 gear or older.

Just a thought..........

And for those who complain about having to pay S&H for FREE stuff, don't redeem your coupon.

well said.  free is free.  it would be nice to have 2012 gear with the coupon, but whatever, at least you're getting a FREE $200 coupon.

I said this to myself in my head.  I figured somebody else would type it out.  Thanks.

This is another details that we are restricted in the fine print of our dealer contracts.

Sorry that we are not able to get around these restrictions on the free giveaway items we love to hook you up with. We do what we can.
