    Posted: Oct/13/2011 at 7:29pm
I'm getting ready for the season and looking for googles that will last me a few years. I would like some recommendations on pairs that DO NOT fog up, must have great air ventilation and a wide range of visibility. My price range is $65 and below. Spys, Scotts, Oakleys would be at the top of my list.

airgoggles hands down. you won't find anything come close to it at the same price. especially the quality of the lense, hard to get scratches compare to other brands.

or try giro goggles, it's cheap but it's really comfy with the pk strap. great vision and barely fog on me (and i sweat a lot even in blizzard day).
hmmm... Now What???

Fogging up is all a function of fit.  The only time I've had goggles fog up is when I'm hiking (clears up when I start moving), when I get snow on the inside from a yardsale, or if I leave it in a wet goggle bag overnight.  Get the ones that fit your face and are cheap.  Decent goggles show up on Whiskey Militia all the time.
ROLL ON, BISHES.

I've been looking at a variety of Smiths in that range - they seem like they are in a good price range, and have seen some good reviews...

You can find cheap goggles everywhere, but you should know what fits you face propperly. Try pairs on and see what fits, and then go for those type or brand. You'll know when you've found the right fit.

You need to try goggles on before you buy them, from a friend or in a shop. Everyone has a different shaped face, and if they don't fit, it sucks.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'm going to look into amazons selections. They seem to have the best deals.

For the price vs. quality, you can't beat Smith's as the warranty is untouchable!

Oakley O's are good. Nothing snazzy but completely functional.

what these guys have already stated in bold.
everyone is super stoked about their goggles and that's great, but not everyone has the same face shape as you do, if the goggles fit your face then you should get them.
A good fit will keep your lenses from fogging.

make sure you can breathe through your nose with them and that they're helmet compatible if you are going to wear a helmet.
Long hair don't care!
