Lol this thread is genius. As a tip for any designers:

NEVER EVER EVER DO SPEC WORK!!!

They don't have to pay you, they can steal your idea and get someone else to do it for cheaper or do it themselves.

If you want to do it to build your portfolio at least make sure you get a contract before giving them your ideas.

The one where ctoma just mirrored snow on TruSnow was actually pretty legit too haha

I have to say that the portfolio you have created for this contest is astounding. I mean the variety, the nuances and overall asthetics that you have put forth here should be treasured,  and I'm envious of the monetary considerations that are quite obviously coming your way.

the mistake this guy made was making it a contest for money if he just asked if anyone had any graphic design skills to just have fun with something im sure a few would have that make look decent but his approach was more of an insult.

Let me know when you get serious and will actually pay the appropriate amount to get a logo...

btw:

Best of luck with the logo and retail site  LOL

I am artistically spent...  I figure I logged 147 minutes on this campaign, my bill to jacquet will be $3,675.  The honorable -b Esq. will be representing me in case the client defaults on the payment.

If anyone needs me I will be in my studio recharging my artistic batteries.
