    Posted: Oct/24/2011 at 6:48am
So this morning a place I use to live was torched.  I believe the initial thought is arson.  I have a couple friends who still live there and are going to lose everything.

I don't usually do this but my friends are freaking awesome people.  Suzanne owns a snowboard clothing company called AKINZ.  If you get a chance, stop by her website
www.akinz.com and give them some love.  Suzanne and Bumpas are awesome people and provide some sweet stuff.  I can't see a better time than now to support them.

Just ordered the Red Akinz logo T-Shirt. I would have dropped your name but there wasn't a comment box for orders. Hope they are back on their feet soon. By the way, they have some nice products. Everyone should check them out.

Just purchased a shirt from them. Hope everything works out and if it was arson that the person responsible is caught. Wish them luck from TS community.

Good vibes to your friends, and you.  You sound like a good friend of theirs and I hope you keep up the strength for them when they need.

Arson is a crime commited by scumbag cowards. How would they like their entire lives to go up in flames...

I was just in Ft Collins Thursday for the first time. Cool town.

Insurance is the only thing that is going to help them now, especially since revenge still won't pay for all the stuff that is damaged physically.

Stuff can be replaced, they can't.  I'm glad to hear they, and their dogs, are safe.
Sending best wishes there way.

Hopefully they won't be overwhelmed with the influx of orders and trying to pick up the pieces.

I doubt they will be overwhelmed, but I am sure it might take a few extra days to get things finished. I just saw them and they are pretty optimistic. Gotta love that!   Bad news is there is a major winter storm heading our way in 24 hrs. So anything that may not be damaged might not hold up to the wet snow

Damn Joel, saw this of Suzanne's FB earlier this morning before they knew the extent of the damage. This is a total bummer as Suzanne and Bumpas are awesome people and great fun to hang out with. Make sure you let them know i'm thinking and hoping for them!

Also, just saw this on their FB page: A friend of theirs has set-up a donation collection for them and the link is below...

I took a look at their shop and like some of their necklaces and beanies.  I may be ordering some for Christmas for myself (yeah, that's how I do it for my husband).
I do hope they land on their feet quickly.
