Anyone selling huge bar of wax? Because I am looking for one. I remember last year there was a guy selling big bars of wax but got really flaky or something. Don't know if he's still around.

I am also looking for that thread. I thought most people were happy with his selling? Just want some cheap wax.

Thanks for the link to the thread.
After searching around, I found a site that sells the SVST Wax that the other guy was selling for roughly the same price after shipping, $21. http://www.race-werks.com/product.php?prod_num=93004100 If you buy more than one up to 7 the S/H charge stays at $9. |

it's cool you don't have any of them near by. you can always get the one ball jay or dakine wax from rei. a wax is a wax, just pick what-ever you can.

buying bulk wax = good
buying bulk wax from "some guy" on TruSnow = maybe not so good* I recommend those 500 gram toko wax "batons". These rods are sold in bulk to ski shops for in-house wax jobs and have no packaging...they just come wrapped in plastic, stacked in a big box. Sometimes separate sticks show up on ebay. Good deal, good performing all-temp wax. Hertel brick is good performing all-temp wax, but is aerated to look larger than the actual net weight. The 3/4 pound (340 gram) brick looks as big as a 500 gram toko stick. I don't doubt poorboy is good, too...but good luck actually finding it. (* although, if that wax is legit SVST, they make good stuff. I have some of their base brushes) |
