I would've said Carinthia. Transworld begs to differ, they rated Seven Springs #1 in the East for both park and pipe:
http://snowboarding.transworld.net/2011-resort-poll/ Never been though, might have to check it out sometime |

Although I've never been to Seven Springs I would vote Carinthia best in the East. It has all knids of terrian to offer and for me it's the closest.

carinthia literally has everything from huge inferno rails and jumps to nitro which is lapable all day and so is gulch. not to mention the pipe and prospect.

i think Killington, The Stash is the best park on the east. i like the natural wood look and how it has every type of thing in parks you could wish for, also the other parks on Killington are great they are all different sizes and it makes for good practice and working your way up to stash. Also the two pipes are sick! the super pipe is great for experience but the pipe on Ramshed is a great starting point to get use to the pipe.

I'll toss in a vote for "The Stash" at Killy... great vibe in there.

Carinthia is one of the faces of Mount Snow. A few years back they basically turned they entire mountain face into a park wonderland.

Dude....that thing is just too much fun. Yeah it can get pretty sketchy after a day of riding/tracked out and doesn't see too much grooming. Last year the group I was riding with spent a whole day lapping the ramshead park, and hiked that "pipe" for two hours or so. I just like how chill that park run is. That being said, a big +1 for the stash at k-town. |

I've ridden both 7 springs and Mt Snow and I'd go with Mt Snow out of the two. I only go with that because its a larger mountain therefore longer park runs. For a small PA, 7 springs def holds its own when it comes to park and pipes are maintained well. Great staff at springs, bummed I don't get to ride there this season.
Glad to see springs got the top spot for the second year in a row. |

If you ever consider shredding the midwest, then Capital Park at Mad River Mountain in Columbus, Ohio is where its at for sure.

Belleayre is a great place to learn because most of the lower half of the mountain is served by a completely different lift system for beginners. You can ride easy green trails without worrying about six million people zooming by. The trails are wide, the atmosphere is laid back, and the rates are reasonable. Don't know when it will be open with this crazy warm weather.....

having been to all theses places, and killington being my home mouton I can tell you that the funnest is The stash at killi is the funnest. if you are an intermediate-advanced rider there are endless lines through glades, jumps jibs and more. the rest of the parks at killington are terrible compared to other places. dreammaker was a huge let down last year. if you want a traditional type of park defiantly go to mt. snow

It's in the Catskills. I don't know where you're located, Vermont has better conditions, but Belleayre is closer to the metropolitan NY area. I'm on Long Island and I can't hack a six plus hour Saturday morning drive to a resort in Vermont and the Sunday night trip back.
