Boots for tendon support

So, you guys might remember me as that guy who had really bad tendonitis, and posted on here about it. Turns out my recovery is going well (I'm in a boot now, which has been helping a ton), and I'm thinking I'll be able to ride again this winter. No more kickers for a while, but at least I can butter.

My question is, do you guys know what kinds of boots provide some good tendon support? I'm a pretty big park rat, so I'm used to softies, but I hear I'm guessing I'll need some stiff ones this year... Any opinions? I'd like to still be able to butter around, but I don't want too much flex, or I risk being in pain again. =/

Also, maybe throw in some real foot beds to help support your foot.  the stock one from any boot company are crap.  Remind, Shredbeds, or even Superfeet would be a starter, IMO

When I first got my Burton Rulers (dual speed zone lacing... might help your support issues), they didn't fit well at all... Until I took out the stock Burton footbed, and put a cheapo 3/4 insert ($7 from walmart) in them for arch support.  They instantly became the most comfortable pair of booties I've ever even tried on, let alone worn.

Get a pair of DC boots with the pump up ait liner. That will help you out. I have an older pair of DC judge with boa & also the air liner, they are stiff and lock on to the foot better than any other boot I have worn.
