I love to snowboard....with music. I love to listen to metal, hardcore, hard rock, and music like that. I was wandering if anyone knows of any good bands that are kinda "groovy" or easy to snowboard to i should say that are hardcore. I usually listen to Confide, Once Nothing, Chunk,No!Captain Chunk, Parkway Drive......etc. Feel free to post if you like metal and hardcore music too!

Iron Maiden. End thread. Or maybe Hall and Oates? Both send you on the express elevator straight to hell!

I love listing to metal, rock and stuff with a ultra heavy beat like KMFDM before going out to snowboard but as far as being on the mountain I never were headphones because I like to hear things around me and know what is going on while snowboarding.

Not sure I've ever heard the word "Groovy" used to describe metal/hardcore bands.

I listen to metal as well when I ride. Pantera, Metalica, Rage Against The Machine, One Day As A lion, Korn, etc. I love getting pumped up and just go kill it.

Not to prolong this thread too far, but I would note that Steel Panther's new album BALLS OUT dropped this week.  It contains such hits as "it won't suck itself" and "17 girls."  You'll definitely want to take a peek at the lyric video for 17 girls on this page right here:

ENJOY!
