I didn't see a thread posted on these, so here goes my friendly reminder about 'em.
San Francisco SnowBomb Ski & Snowboard Festival -- Sat, Nov 5 & Sun, Nov 6
Silicon Valley SnowBomb Ski & Snowboard Festival -- Sat, Nov 12 & Sun, Nov 13
Sacramento SkiDazzle Snow Show -- Sat, Nov 19 & Sun, Nov 20
Kick off your 2011/2012 season! I'll be getting both my stoke on & my drink on this Sunday @ the SF show!

just got back from portland ski and snowboard snow. tbh, it's not worth your time if you have something specify in your mind. the people are great, but the selection just too limited. only saw two jones snowboard (a havorcraft for 360 and a mountain twinsfor 420ish), a yes jackpot and a few smokin snowboards. beside those, just a bunch of burton, artec, rossignal and few never summer. surprisingly didn't see any lamar nor morrow (maybe they were there, but i just didn't see them).
but a lot of hot sales ladies for sure.

I will be at the one in Santa Clara on the 13th. Beer tasting and free lift tickets.
Don't forget about the Warren Miller film tour also, I know you used to get a free lift ticket for attending, so I'm assuming it's still the same this year. |

Unless your really want the free ticket, I'd avoid the skidazzle show.
Just look at that photo on the site. That crowd is just getting their free ticket at the counter. When I was living in Los Angeles I went to the one there, and I was super pissed because what they gave out was a 2 for 1 and it was useless to me because my only friend that snowboarded had a season pass. Not only that but I got a $500 speeding ticket on the way there.

Ive never been to a Ski Dazzle show but did attend the Snowbomb show last year and going this year. Last year, the Santa Clara show had a lot more gear for sale compared to the SF show. If your not drinking there, you should be in and out in under an hour. Unless you spend some quality time in the For Sale section lol

I went last year, and mostly went for the drinking and hanging out. I didn't have anything particular in mind, and the deals weren't amazing or anything, and it gets seriously crowded. The lift tickets given are also to resorts i will never visit.

I've never gone and probably never will. I don't think it's worth it.

Yea I tend to find better deals online.
Although when I used to live in LA, the ski dazzle show there was pretty impressive. In the bay area it kind of sucks.

I went to Ski Dazzle in Sacramento last year for the Sugar Bowl lift tickets. This year's freebies are not as enticing so I won't be going. Having the Epic Tahoe Value pass this year also helped in making that decision...

We just got back from Sac Snow.
What a zoo! We got there at the opening gate, got our ticket (more people showing up by the minute) and went to visit. By the time we were leaving the fricken line was zigzag-ing through the whole lower level. It seriously had to be well over a two hour wait. But overall it was good experience, got to meet and greet with some local and smaller companies. Good shopping. :)

Anyone know if the early-season 2-for-1s that came w/ admission to the SnowBomb expos will be valid for late-season instead?
I seem to recall coming across something to that effect re: early-season vouchers. Sadly, I don't remember where I read it or even which promoters' vouchers they were in reference to. At any rate, that would be an awesome thing for them to do since almost every resort wasn't open til a week or so before Xmas.

We had Sierra vouchers that we gave out to customers after attending our video premiere. They were supposed to be early season tickets, but due to the shitty snow year, they're still accepting them later on in the year.
Call whoever you have a ticket to and ask them. |

Yeah, this sounds familiar. I'm pretty sure this voucher w/ the movie screening is what I heard about being honored later, but I'll definitely go w/ your suggestion & email the awesome SnowBomb folks. Then I'll come back here w/ the update.
