NCAA B-Ball officially starts tonight with a few games, with of course the Carrier Classic on Friday night showcasing my TAR HEEEEELS and MI State!
You know you've got lots of opinions on how bball goes down this year. And with the NBA whineys preventing a season from transpiring, those needing their court fix will have to get it from somewhere. Discuss!!

This is about the time of year when I tell myself that I'm going to watch a lot of college basketball. Then I watch about 2 games before March Madness. Maybe no NBA will change things a bit though. Gotta get a basketball fix now and again.

hahah yeah I never end up and watch as much as I want to. This is a hard spot of the year of almost having "too much" sports (no, not really) to keep up with -- college FB, college BB, NFL, NHL. Good stuff!

I am also excited about the UNC MSU game. It will be sloppy as all early games are but it is still an awesome setting.

The MSU vs UNC game was a beat down, but what a cool idea. I believe one of the announcers said that it should be a four team tournament and have two of the armed forces teams play as well. That would be a cool tournament, for the troops.

Coach K is just an amazing coach. He deserves to have the most wins. He's the best out there right now. I can't say the same for his team, but Coach K is the best coach I've seen.

Can't believe the loss at Oklahoma State today. Head Coach Kurt Budke and Assistant Coach Miranda Serna were killed in a plane crash. Thoughts and prayers go out to the families and school.

Sometimes it is hard to get up for that kind of competition. Plus UCONN is pretty young so they will have some ups and downs this year. |

OSU is legit, they have a good shot at winning it all if they stay healthy. Also go big ten with its third challenge win in a row. They needed it after the ACC dominated the start of this challenge. |

That was such a sloppy win. Holy cow on the embarrassing side! Thank goodness Wisconsin hit a no-score 4+minute streak in the 1st half and couldn't capitalize on 10+ turnovers...then another 5+min no-score streak in the 2nd half for the Badgers.
Two top ten teams playing each other and they couldn't even break 30pts each by half. Crazy! Sloppy or not, it's a W, and I'll take that just fine. |

Yea, that UNC/Kentucky game was a great one! That block at the last second could have been avoided, a pump fake or draw a foul coulda won it. That defender had some long arms for that block! Go-Go Gadgets Arms.

Yeah those two losses are *almost* embarrassing. I didn't expect them to fall too far because of the KY game tho. They always figure out a way to play inconsistently, sometimes always at the most inopportune time. WTG.
