Hello,
I have some new Burton mission bindings, but the screws that came with the bindings won't fit on the Atomic Alibi board. The board is 2004 and brand new that I had sitting in my room for a long time. If I try to force the screw in, it'll strip the screw leaving metal shavings around. Obviously the tread on the screw is different from the board. My question, does any know what screw size and tread size the Atomic Alibi needs??? Where can I purchase this? Thanks |

The hardware might be metric. I'm not sure what size though. PM one of the staff on this site, and they can probably hook you up with all the info |

weird. as far as i know everyone went to the same M6 (metric) size for their insert screws. go to your local shop and see if they have a bunch of different screws.
or check Tight Ass Industries for some sweet screws. |

I ride Atomic. The M6 screw fits, it just feels like it is too small. The hole on the board has a plastic substance like loc-tite in the hole. If you are using a screw with loc-tite on it (most that come with bindings do) it will feel immpossible to thread (when you see what appears to be metal shavings is actually only that interior plastic).
Solution = either use more elbow grease or buy M6 screws without loc-tie. I bought screws without loc-tite and it was way easier to thread. |
