Surgar Mt condition

Sugar has been just mucky junk. They zoomed the cams in today so you couldn't see the muddy, muddy, mucky bottom. They are also charging stupid prices for what is really available. They dropped to $40 last week but I think were charging $50 today. They had their guns on in 42-degree weather today too...possibly more for show than anything.

Right now Beech & Cataloochee have been hands down the best looking slopes in NC. They managed a pretty decent base and have held onto it through some warm, wet, sloppy weather. Temps should be dipping down this week for more blowing so they can build their base back up.

If you go in January, you might want to shoot for later in the month to see if weather patterns are going to change for the better so we can see the real white stuff!

Just got back this past weekend. Any chance its gonna get any better this season? Its already january. Its the worst condition i have seen sugar mt in years. The big Red was completely icy. Going again in 2 weeks, hopefully it will be a better experience.
