I'm wearing Vans Varial right now.  With mocha suede uppers and tan gum soles, they're kind of a dressier skate shoe...something I can maybe even wear with khakis and not necessarily look like I'm wearing "tennis" shoes

Go with the nike dunks, they have plenty of colors to choose from even if you want low or high tops.

These look a little different than my first pair, but I still love these.  If I can dig up my old pair I'll post them here, they're 20 years old and look 50.
Also have lots of love for Puma Clydes and Adidas gazelles.

Tough for me to pick my favorite shoe that I wear, but out of the shoes I keep DS, my favorite is by far the Nike SB Dunk High Skunks. These are kinda rare since they didn't make so many and they probably go for around 400$ now. Guess what they're modeled after? Hint: you can smoke it. Haha.

Kobe IV in the del sol colorway.
favorite look in the kobe line.
Favorite kobe shoe as far as traction goes too.

the V's were lighter and looked cool, but to maximize the life in them you had to play indoor mostly because instead of herringbone (zig zag) pattern on the sole they had a ekg reading.

Well the ones in the picture are leather sooo
of course they'd rip fast.
The suede ones last a little longer.
any avid skater who's been doing it for years and years knows the shoes that tear up the fastest are most often the ones that skate the best.  i went through a pair of emerica leo's in 3 days a few years ago.  they skated amazing.

anyway...... vans for days.  my favorite is the authentic, chukka low, slipon, and my recent favorite is the pacquard in this color.. so comfy.  i'm a big vans fan.  we do a lot of business with them and i'd say they're one of our #1s

other stuff i've been wearing lately... grey canvas authentics, black suede slipons, black suede/gum outsole authentics.

for skating my favorite shoe in the last handful of years has been the original TNT2.  the older shapes were a little more to my liking and they skate awesome.  for cruiser boards i don't care about the shoe though.
