its definitely not global warming, just a bad year, global warming will cause more extreme conditions on both spectrums... colder winters hotter summers.

Just a shit year. We're feeling it in the mid-west too. I just got back from an area that usually has a butt ton by now. The 6" blizzard yesterday was the first significant snowfall all season so far.

i rode at Hunter today, and going to ride tomorrow. There are a lot of runs with grass exposed on them, and a lot of spots with just ice. =( it started to snow a little today, but didnt last for long. good news is that theres a high of 14 tomorrow and most likely going to get some snow. keeping my fingers crossed.
i know that it was predicted that the east coast is going to get some snow later on in the month and later on into the season. on another note, i saw a skier run into a tree today. it looked and sounded terrible, followed by crazy loud yells and crying. but turned out that she was okay. it was pretty scary.

I would say global warming is crap and the weather is just always changeing but pollution definitely cant help the matter. But resort wise in PA I think Jack Frost and Big Boulder is always on point with there snow making even when its warm out they always have runs and after this week i think every run should be open and hopeing for an extended winter on the slopes and I think we are going to get.

Last I heard it was still in the 60s around New Jersey which is pretty bad. I usually snowboard at like Blue Mountain, Camelback, and Mountain Creek. Anyone know how it is around there?

hahaha it's definitely not global warming. Check out Snowshoe Mountain in WV. Pretty sure they have the best conditions south of Vermont, and they picked up about a foot of pow today
