i know the 2 links next to that have been there. ("most active" and "unanswered")
so the "my threads" link probably HAS been there... but then again i usually dont use that page much except to look for reviews....
who knows... it might be new....

My threads has definitely been there for a couple years. I use it all the time (it helps me filter out you boys and your "go niners" and "Lin-sane!"posts x across the myriad of sports threads LOL).

I can only imagine that with the addition of bikeing and whatnot stuff they are planning to improve the forums.  They would not do it if they did not think it would increase traffic.

I think they should seperate the forums, and make one for skiing/snowboarding and one for all their other stuff like biking etc. if those customers who are coming here to buy bikes etc are going to start popping up in our snowboard forums, im going to get seriously annoyed

I agree, I feel like with the broadened customer base improvements must be made to accommodate the influx of forum members.

I believe they used to have it separated by skis and snowboards back when they were sierrasnowboard.com and sierraskis.com...  The good ol' days.

I've noticed some of the links on some of the products for "Add to My Gear" and "Review" aren't working either.  It's bumming me out.

different companies have different models for how to approach their business.  I do not believe the majority of the TRUOUTDOORS people understand the value of their community.  Maybe some day, but not yet.

OK, so now that they have added bikes and stuff, the top bar has gotten long.  So long now that when I first come to the site, I can see the "Community" button.  But once I'm in the forums, the "Community" button goes away and I can't get back to the "Front Page" of the forums.

Please fix.

Yea it's annoying. I've been opening any thread I want to look at as a new tab so I don't lose the Community page because it's too much of a pain in the ass to get back there.

That's a great tip!
I'll have to do that until they fix the fix that they fixed when they switched...

If you want to see the community tab, just click on your username and from there the community tab is right where it used to be.

Yeah...you can also click on the "Tru OutDoors" Logo and the community tab is right there as well.
What I don't understand is why the community tab goes away after you click on it!  LOL!

yep.  Once you get in the community it's gone.  Pretty stupid.  Just keep clicking back and you'll get back to the home page eventually...

I think it's safe to assume that there will be no updates to the Forums now that Doug is leaving...
