Just so we don't start a thread every time we hear of a deal or discount, I thought it'd be easier if we kept 'em all in here.

Your 1st place to look for this season's Greater Tahoe Area & Central Sierras hook-ups should always be: http://slidingonthecheap.com/deals/all.shtml

There are a couple others they have yet to list, but I emailed them earlier today. Kevin & his crew are usually quick to spread the word, so stay tuned. If they're not updated by next wknd, I'll add the info here.

So if any of y'all come across any goodies like the google offers, etc. that have been posted, chime in here.

REI members always have discount lift tickets to most resorts in Tahoe.
also Any Mountain stores have an electronic kiosk in store to purchase lift tickets at a discount also.

Examples: $85 Adult all day lift tickets to Northstar and Heavenly.

Sliding on the Cheap is awesome.

Shell is doing their 2 for 1 deal again.  Buy 10 gallons of gas, get a BOGO at Alpine, Squaw, Kirkwood, and I think Homewood.  Some of them are restricted (no sat/sun) but it's still a killer deal.

Did you google it?

Yeah, the Shell SkiFree deal is one of those I emailed Kevin to add to the SOTC deals page.

Here's the link for the particular stations in ALL of Cali: http://www.skifreedeals.com/shell-stations-california.html

And here are the deets on which resorts in Cali are hooking it up: http://www.skifreedeals.com/ski-resorts-california.html

Nice! I forgot abt their hook-up & I was just there last week, too. LOL

Here's the SB page w/ all their lift ticket discounts: http://community.sportsbasement.com/rentals/lift-tickets/

And find the location nearest you by clicking the "Stores" link at the bottom left of any page.

We just got hooked up w/ $14 tix @ Squaw & Alpine, and now...
$15 Lift Tix @ Mt. Rose for anyone who works in a tourism-related business

Mt. Rose is offering $15 lift tickets on Sunday, Febuary 12th through Friday, the 17th for anyone who helps promote skiing in Lake Tahoe by working a tourism related job. It is their way to thank the people for all the support and referrals this season

Employees in any of the following industry can qualify for the cheap lift tickets:

* All lodge properties

* All casino staff

* Restaurants

* Ski and board shops

* And anyone who works in a tourism related business

To redeem your $15 lift ticket, bring your most recent paycheck stub to the Guest Services Office at Mt. Rose Main Lodge.

Only one ticket per guest and it is not valid with any other discounts.

Tomorrow is the LAST day of this week-long special.Cry I wish I had come across this sooner so more peeps would've known about it. Better late than never, I say.
