I'm flying in solo Feb 4th into Salt Lake to meet up with some nor cal buds at the Canyons resort. Unfortunately when I looked online for options to get in there they seem pretty expensive for a solo person, especially since the shuttle does not have a price for a single. Anyone know any decent transportation options that won't break the bank. Carpool anyone? My flight gets in at 11 AM and I hope to get up on the slopes for half day to take advantage of the free ticket program.

I think there's probably bus service that could get you there. But not easily.

Wow. I tried to use their tool and it couldn't pull down any connections. I know there are shuttles but they list for 2 adults... I'm wondering if I just have to pay the adult price for 2 which is $48 I think. I may have to hang around the baggage carousel and see if I can "rideshare" with anyone.

Well... I checked Craigslist and saw people offering rideshares like personal taxi cabs. I guess that's another option too.....

Well the shuttle service lists almost every other option possible, so if they aren't going to list a single adult, I am going to assume I would have to pay the minimum 2 adult price at $48. The only single they offer is for a Child (with 1 required adult purchase). I need to do some price checking on craigslist as that should get me a direct transportation to the resort also.
I mean they list a signle child, 2 adults, 3 adults, 4, adults, 5 adults ts all the way up to 10. Actually just found one for $39 ech way |

You might be able to get a free lift ticket if you fly in. Hope you find this useful:

This is old, but the information is still worth noting.
Option 1: By far the cheapest option is the bus which is free most of the year. By this time there should be a tram from the airport to downtown so take the tram to the Central Station and then catch the 902 bus to Park City. It takes about an hour but the bus only leaves 4 times a day.
Option 2: Cab. Probably the most expensive, so find someone in the airport going to Park City and split it.
Option 3: Hotel Shuttle, I know the Marriott and several other resorts have one. Check with where you are staying.

My friends did the whole fly in and get a free lift ticket to ride the same day. Your hotel doesn't have a shuttle service?
