Didn't you guys just get one of the top 5 prospects in all of baseball in the A's trade :)

But yeah dodgers aren't giving up anything exciting for Barney.

Kemp homers twice and pound out 15 hits against the Braves....both Gonzalez and Kemp are hitting over 400 since the break.  Kemp has hit over 300 for awhile now albeit with little power.  If he starts getting his home run stroke back...forget it the Dodgers will run away with the division.

It's the Cubs, they will end up with some marginal utility player.  There's no joy in Wrigleyville.

Just went to a Seattle Mariners versus Mets game with my kids, 6 and 7. It was great to have them finally understanding the sport. It didn't peak their interest for long but I hope to have future baseball fans to share the sport with.

Apparently you have the best farm system in baseball so hopefully things start turning around next year and then they start getting good in the years that follow.  But yeah they are in a tough stretch.

^ It's a long season, all teams go through various slumps, funks, etc.  In some cases (Cubs) the slumps, funks, etc. last longer than other teams... it's tough being a Cubs fan.

Jays playing some good ball lately. Taking 3/4 vs Bosox and 2/3 vs NY. Another rematch in Beantown tonight with Dickey pitching. Still 3 games back of the O's. Division is still possible.

That was a big sweep in SF for the dodgers especially in such a tight race and where the teams do not meet in August.  We shall see if it creates momentum for them to go on a nice run again.

Kershaw dominant again...CG 2 hitter against the Giants.  His era against the giants in SF is .68 or something ridiculous.

Big game tonight!

Dodgers rough up Timmy while Puig hits 3 triples! first time in 113 years for a Dodger.

Now Kershaw on the mound tonight.

Wondering if any big trades are going to go down this year.

Padres bomb the Cubbies 13-3 yesterday, I'm not even sure why I continue to watch the games.  SD's starting pitcher struck out 11 Cubs.

I think you got the two mixed up. Yady plays for the Cards and Jose for Tampa. But nice to see the Molina connection even if it's by way of some peanut butter cheese crackers. lol

Dodgers eek won out against Cardinals with Kershaw giving a solid stat line.

Kemp goes 2-5 and has hit over 315 since June 1st albeit with no power.

Cardinal pitchers love to take out Dodger's best hitter...Puig day to day after hit on the hand.

crazy how much this offense is struggling...only Gordan and Puig are playing at a high level.

Yeah, it's tough being a Rangers fan right now..especially liging in A's country. The A's AAA team plays in Sacramento, so most people are A's fans. A few years ago, it was great...

Rangers are likely to snap their 4-year streak of winning 90+ games a season. They have to win 52 of their remaining 67 games to get to 90. They have actually used 29 different pitchers this year...crazy..

Dodgers end first half with back to back 1-0 wins. At this point do you have to say they need more offense? Hard to imagine with the names in that lineup but this far into the season when do you stop expecting more from some of these guys?
