Blue Jays gave up 2 in the 10th...so much for the bottom of the 9th heroics...

White Sox's David Robertson allowed 2 runners on bases now...Toronto might actually win this one after all...

Rangers snapped their 7-game win streak with a 3-12 loss to the Indians. At least they were .500 for day...

Hoping for a Jays comeback after a walk off by Donaldson last night. Maybe this is where they turn things around.

You know it's officially a pitching era when lesser prospects are coming up and having success throughout the league

good to finally put up some runs as the Dodgers tied longest scoreless drought since 1962!

Pederson went yard so hopefully he starts heating up again.

Man the dodger bats have gone cold...baseball is a funny game.  Kershaw needs to pick up a win tomorrow and not let them get swept.

Kemp deal is looking like a big win for the Dodgers...he is only hitting 269 with one home run and is a terrible defender...very much not worth the money he is making...in the meantime the catcher they got for him is hitting over 300 and playing very good defense.

Ethier was right about still being a starter...very solid year so far.

Dodgers depth has been the strength of the team so far...Ethier hitting 329 with 5 home runs, Van Slyke 370 with 4 home runs, Guererro 353 with 6 home runs...

Along with bullpen which has just been sensational.

and of course Gonzalez...

So after everyone applauded the Dodgers for the Dee Gordon + Dan Harren trade...Dee Gorden leads the majors in batting at 437 and has the 3rd most hits in baseball history at this stage of the season. Harren, who the dodgers are flipping the bill for has an era of 2.38.  The dodgers did get Hendrick out of the deal who has been very good and some depth but so far this has been a home run for the Marlins...

Cardinals off to their best start in recent history! Sitting at 22-7 right now, these guys are just finding ways to win every time they step on the field. Even with Wainwright out they are still a dominant pitching staff.

Scored some tickets to Saturdays game. Big smile

after a slow start Grandal has really picked it up for the Dodgers...average up to 301 and had two homers and 8 RBIs today.

With Pederson playing the way he has the Kemp trade is looking really good.

Rangers complete the 3-game series sweep against the Astros with a 11-3 win last night. The pitching looked good, allowing only 5 runs in the 3 games, and the Rangers scored 20 runs. They start a 4-game series with TB today with Nick Martinez on the mound. Rangers are 5-0 so far this season with Martinez pitching, although he's only credited with 2 of the wins. Maybe the Rangers have turned their season around?

Surprisingly, the Rangers have beaten the Astros the last 2 games with starting pitchers Wandy Rodriguez and Ross Detwiler. I have never heard of these players... The Astros started Dallas Keuchel and Scott Feldman. The Rangers weren't supposed to win those 2. Tonight, Rangers are starting Colby Lewis against Samuel Deduno. Rangers might actually sweep the Astros in this series! Clap

Kershaw off to a slow start but the numbers show he is as dominant as ever...things will turn soon.

Meanwhile they keep raking...3 more home runs today.

Wainwright is out for 9-12 months with an Achilles tendon tear, puts the Cards in a tight spot pitching wise. Need a young guy to really step up this season!

The Orioles will play the White Sox with no fans in the stands because of the riots in Baltimore. That's going to be a weird game...

The Angels overpaid for him. And, knowing his history, didn't give him the support he needed off the field. It was just a bad move overall for the Angels. Now, they'll have to pay for him to play for their division rival. The Rangers got a pretty sweet deal at $7mil for the rest of that contract, which is just short of 2 seasons. Hamilton will be able to play better in Texas because they know what to do w/ him. His best seasons were all with the Rangers.

Nice win over Giants last night.  Pederson has been so impressive so far.  Hitting around 300 and OBP of around 400 hitting out of the 8 hole and playing great defense.

Gonzalez is out of his mind right now...another home run...7'home runs and 18 rbi and over 400. McCarthy left game though so that is already 2 of projected starting 5 out. U can never have enough starting pitching.

The Royals have become thugs all of a sudden. The fastball to the head against the A's, and now the brawl against the White Sox. They're either mad because they didn't win the WS, or they think they're the sh*t because they won the AL last year...either way..it's only April...calm down...

There was a basebrawl game in Chicago last night, the Royals seem to have a chip on their collective shoulders.  5 players ejected, no real punches thrown.  Oh yeah, almost forgot there was a game being played, White Sox lost 3-2 in 13 innings.

Dodgers missed a great opportunity to bury the giants early in the season...if they would have swept a 9 game lead is pretty hard to overcome with the talent the Dodgers have.  Kershaw vs Bumgarner tonight...great match up in a pretty big early season match up.
