Jays win again but the best part of the game... was watching a fat guy like Dioner Navarro steal a base!

^ I've been noticing mustaches showing up in several sports.  Penguins goalie Marc Andre Fluery was sporting one last night.

always a bummer when your team rallies for 3 in the ninth and then loses in the tenth...I like the early attitude of the Dodgers in the season

18 Strikeouts in two starts (with a 100 pitch count ceiling in each) for Tanaka.  Pretty impressive, even though his pitches themselves don't look like they have much action.

Don't need too much action if the batters can't hit it.

He needs to pitch outdoors.  Being in a dome does not help a knuckleball pitcher.

Charlie Blackmon is leading the MLB with a .471 BA and Carlos Gonzalez is 3rd in the NL with 11 RBIs.  Cuddyer is batting .415, Morneau is batting .387.  CO leads the NL with 60 runs scored but has given up 58 runs... All nice but where are the wins?  5 W and 5 L so far.

Yep, wish someone would've told that to the Jays bonehead GM before giving half the farm to the Mets.

This "pitcher" always had the ability to hit. If I remember correctly, he batted 8th a few times.

Rocks lose in the 10th, 5-4 to the Giants, a disappointing loss after shutting them out yesterday 1-0.

This is sick that Kershaw is injured and nobody is saying anything about how long he'll be out.  This just multiplies all that math about how much he gets paid per pitch.

Dodgers looking good at 9-4, the lineup is really tough for any opposing pitcher and it will only get better as Kemp rounds into form...

Giants looking to definitely pose a challenge.

Reds and Pirates having a homer-fest, 10 HRs through 6 innings.  1 more to tie the NL record, 2 more to tie the MLB record.

^Tigers/White Sox apparently have the record.  They did it twice against each other, once in '95 and once in 2002.  Almanac

3 sets of back to backers for the Pirates.  If the Pirates lose, they have already tied most HRs for a losing team in the NL.  I am sure they can get one more off the Reds relief.

But now with the rain postponing, the dynamics of the game will be gone when they finish it today.

Im surprised Vogelsong pitched so well. Had a shut out through 6 and only allowed one run till he got pulled. ERA down to 5.4. Only one game but I hope he continues this success.

received a pair of baseline Dodger tickets for last night's game. Amazing seats...different perspective that close to the field.

Didn't hurt they pounded out 8 runs in the win :)

Really not liking this Dodger rotation with the outfield.  Had a debate with friend who thinks it is a good idea for the dodgers to rotate them because they do not stay healthy but I totally disagree.  Starters want to start and they are all starters.  This will get old for all of them really quick. Besides the Dodgers best prospect plays center field and will be ready soon if someone to get hurt. Additionally, Van Slyke can take over as well. Trade one of them already...

What the hell is up with Carlos Gomez? It seems like every year this guy is involved in a bench clearing brawl. Dude, just seems to have to puff his feathers like a peacock after each hit. He needs to stop admiring and start running.

4 combined strikeouts already after 1.

I am expecting Tanaka to strikeout 16 since it is his first appearance in the rivalry.  I am not a yankees fan, but I am all about the Tanaka hype, so I'll enjoy watching him do this at Fenway.

Ok so not exactly a 1-0 game but Tanaka is for real. Yet I still think at some point hitters will figure him out like they did with Nomo and the rest that followed.
