There are skiers in this forum, lack of response may be due to the season ending for many people.

I, personally, admire your audacity. I'm a two planker at heart, but love snowboarding just the same. Some people don't appreciate that the art of skiing can be just as beautiful or even more so if given a legitimate chance. The only possible issue I can see here, as mentioned earlier, is that the season is over for most of the TS members.

what size person would those skis fit? I've been thinking about skiing again for a long time, but have always been daunted by the price/lack of knowledge. I'm 6foot 160 lbs

this is probably your best bet.
http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide-skis.htm

Looks to be a little big for you.
Someone around 180+ lbs would use these ski's. They're definitely a heavy ski that needs a strong rider.
