Who's Ready For Some FOOTBALL 2012/2013 Season!

In browsing the interwebs regarding NFL content, i came across THIS STORY, which is about legendary punter Ray Guy, and his not having reached the NFL HOF. The article is long, but the first few paragraphs get the point across. It's essentially that he was the best at what he did, but the HOF voters regard WHAT he did as inadequate for HOF positioning. Guy never had one of his punts returned for a TD, and equally impressive is the entire concept of hang-time was based on his performance. It's a stat we use now with every punt, its really sad that he gets snubbed because a punter is "just a punter". Essentially the same argument DHs have with the MLB HOF.

So you're saying stick with the same bet? The Eagles are terrible by all definitions lol.. though the backup QB might just be an improvement! And the Redskins are on a 3-game skid of their own. Who wants to lose less?!

Skins are past due for a win against the eagles.
However, something tells me nick foles is the real deal.

Reid has impaired judgment.
He traded Kolb, when he should of traded Vick.

Not in title. But he has " final say " on roster changes.

3 OT games in the first half of the day. NFL redzone was awesome for that. I really wanted the jags to pull off the upset haha. But that screen was a great playcall by the Texans. I also wanted arizona to beat the falcons but oh well

Eagles need to start all there young players to figure out who is worth keeping.

The Steelers need Big Ben back if they are going to make the playoffs.  Leftwhich isn't going to win them any games.

I think he had already pulled Gronk out of the game, but he was in blocking for an extra point when he broke his arm.

And yeah, if a team has a bunch of talent but plays poorly, I think the responsibility lies with the coaching staff.  It's not like it's an anomaly this season, he's been a terrible coach for years.

Time for Bears to redeem themselves on MNF! The way I look at it is, we had a better chance at beating the 9ers then the Texans. And since that game against the Texans was pretty damn close, I think we go into San Fran and leave with a Win.  My only prediction is 1 peanut punch for a fumble and 1 interception by Jennings.

I put 50 on the bears tonight only because I feel anyone could do better than Cutler

2 great defenses..and 2 backup QBs...it's going to be ugly...

One nice thing about everyone talking crap about a QB (Smith)... if he goes down, his replacement can't be that bad

My goodness, the 49ers defense woke up after its pitiful showing last week. Bad news is the media is already trying to stir up a QB controversy when there isn't one yet.

It's hilarious how bad the bears really are! They can only compete with teams with losing records & lose to every 'real' nfl football team that they come up against. Luckily for the bears that easy schedule of theirs always makes them look like a team that they are not.

Agreed. It was a $hit show last night. Da bears needed some serious help now. I throw up in my mouth a little thinking cutler actually helped that team but he apparently did. GO PACKERS!!!! haha
