I wouldn't say he has a decent resume to be a head coach in the NFL. He might have a decent resume to be a coordinator but the Bears are taking a big risk on this one.

He inherited a team that went 10-6 in a good division. Good luck with that. Norv Turner inherited a superbowl contending team and went backwards. So $hit happens.

I would be intrigued by a Harbaugh v Harbaugh Super Bowl, especially with the coach that has more to prove with the better team.
I don't see the Raven's getting there, though

No, Norv Turner happens. He's a horrible coach, your example proves nothing. Personally I'm happy they hired someone outside of the box instead of a re-tread from the good ol' boys coaching click.

Rob Ryan interviewing for the Rams D-coordinator position. He may have something to give as a coach but I hate the "Ryan' factor. He's a D coordinator and every game of the Cowboys they'd be cutting to him on the sideline the publicity they bring annoys me

dont forget, they lost on FLUKE last year after a botched field goal attempt that would've delivered the win AGAINST the pats...they have EVERY shot at it.
right now, im worried about the 49ers losing to themselves...AGAIN.

Actually last year the Ravens missed the field goal to TIE and go into overtime, however they would have had all the momentum going into OT, but still don't know what would have happened.
As for the 49ers @ the Falcons I agree. Its the 49ers game to lose.

Dammit, Crabtree being questioned about sexual assult. Niners don't need this type of distraction right now. By my guess, at least the girl is real.

That would be awesome. Brady going for his 4th to tie Montana and Bradshaw. And the Niners going for 6 to tie the Steelers.

This game is awesome. Quick start for Falcons but a nice comeback by the 49ers. Looks like this game is gonna come down to the wire.

Niners game freaking INTENSE. great poise by ck to bring us back. Great that we got Vernon involved too. I got really scared after that delay of game penalty was called and we were backed up. Thought we'd give them good field position or just enough space to block the punt and then gore gave us some space. I'm so excited right now. As I said before, it was the deep ball that got us into trouble but the read option that got us out. Matt Ryan played a great game and I respect him more after this. but damn that was a good game

Atlanta did everything they could to try to give up the game against Seattle, and were lucky enough to pull it out. Didn't have a lot of hope for SF when ATL turned up a quick lead, butttt they managed to choke again. Gonna get sick of hearing about the "Harbowl" for the next two weeks. Not a Niners fan, but I'll root for em for the sake of retaining a west-coast bias.

The HarBOWL!!! LOL! Although i'm not a fan of either team, it should make for a great Super Bowl / HarBOWL. Colin Kaepernick is fun to watch play the game!

Aside from the 1st quarter, Kap and his offense looked damn imposssible to stop. Very impressive. and for the Falcons - pitiful

Matty Ice can't produce under pressure!!! Surprised they were shut down in the second half though.

Matty ice got melted.
Niners offense hard to stop. You have to keep an eye on Kaepernick but if you look too long Davis will run right by you. Pick your poison.

I have to disagree, matt ryan played pretty damn good. If theres one aspect of the falcons
That can't produce under pressure that would be the defense... Cant put this one on the qb

^ Problem is Matt Ryan did not produce in the 2nd half. The entire Falcons offense didn't produce in the 2nd half. You can't fault the defense for giving up 1 TD and 1 field goal in the 2nd half.

either Falcon offense didn't do their job in the 2nd half, or the Raven's defense was just really good. Ppl always look at the bad and fault the offense. Maybe you should consider the good side = Raven's Defense was really good. Just a different angle to think about. I didn't get to see the game, but I'm rooting for 49ers and Ravens. Now that Ravens made it, I'm going for them cuz I think Ray Lewis deserves a ring.

^ My mistake, no field goal. Gore running in 2 TDs was all the scoring in the 2nd half, obviously not Ryan's fault for the Gore TDs but Ryan and the rest of the offense did nothing in the 2nd half.
Second time rurchan has said he thinks Ray Lewis deserves a ring, second time people are correcting him and telling him Lewis already has a ring (and Super Bowl MVP if I remember correctly). The same Ray Lewis that was involved in the murders of 2 people, copped a plea bargain and testified against his 2 buddies... yeah, I want that guy to get another ring, too...

Now that we have 2 teams left, who do you guys think will win the superbowl? I think the 49's will they have a better offense than the Ravens, I say the diffense is a wash as they both have great defense.

Why do you think Lewis "deserves" a ring? I keep reading your posts about him "deserving a ring" but you don't exactly give a reason. Maybe do some research first before making these kinds of statement.

That is the truth. Ravens have been getting in the endzone. I think it is something like they've scored a touchdown the last 8 times they've gotten into the redzone.

wait..what?! i totally missed that post...this story was at the beginning of the season, why is he talking about it now? luck had always insisted on finishing his degree, years before he entered the draft. everyone thought he would have been the #1 pick after his sophmore year, but he went back to stanford instead of declaring for the draft. when he stayed a few weeks to finish his classes after being drafted, it wasn't even a huge issue within the colts organization .
and his other posts sounded like the 49ers and ravents already played each other...what's he smoking?

Brother on brother coaches will make for an interesting time at the next family function. I'm torn, I'd love to see Ray win another ring, the key word being "another" in this case but I'd also love to see CK win one in his first year as the starter
