I would also prefer if it wasn't on a Friday or Saturday night, although I wouldn't mind a Sunday.

if you want to move the draft, post up in the league and we'll see what everyone says.  Sundays are no go for me, but I need to get this done by next Wednesday.

Does everyone want 1 min 30 seconds draft times?  1 min really is adequate and shortens the draft by about an hour.

Just a thought.

totally down for 1 minute.  in my experience, almost no one takes the full 90 seconds, though.

i'm going to leave it because it balances out.  sometime the guy you are hoping for falls and the pick takes >1 second.  other times, you're scrambling.  90 seconds is solid, most drafts I've been part of take around 80 minutes, very doable.  with 12 teams, it might creep to 90 minutes for the whole thing.

zakk, I replied to your PM, but it sounded like I didn't make it in. LMK for sure. Definitely glad to be in.

Either 60, 30 or 90 sec draft times are fine for me. They tend to go fast early, then slow later with people scrambling in the later rounds. 60sec seems like a happy medium, but I'm fine with either.

Nice, I like a Monday draft better than Friday night.

Just drafted my money league last night: QBs get 6 per TD and 1pt / 20 yds with a bonus 5pts at 350 so there's a premium. I had 5th pick.

1. (5) Tom Brady (NE - QB)
2. (16) Darren McFadden (Oak - RB)
3. (25) DeMarco Murray (Dal - RB)
4. (36) Jordy Nelson (GB - WR)
5. (45) Percy Harvin (Min - WR)
6. (56) Vernon Davis (SF - TE)
7. (65) Doug Martin (TB - RB)
8. (76) Pierre Garcon (Was - WR)
9. (85) Willis McGahee (Den - RB)
10. (96) Donald Brown (Ind - RB)
11. (105) Sidney Rice (Sea - WR)
12. (116) David Wilson (NYG - RB)
13. (125) Rashad Jennings (Jac - RB)
14. (136) Seattle (Sea - DEF)
15. (145) Billy Cundiff (Bal - K)

Yea, part of the reason is that I realized after taking Martin that all 3 of my starting RBs have week 5 byes, oops.

No backup QB for that reason and also because it's only a 10 team league and Brady doesn't have his bye until week 10, there should be somebody available by then.

Dude would be top 3 pick if he wasn't so fragile.  Bring a Broncos fan I am not unhappy about his fragility that's for sure haha.

agreed.  i think he'd threaten for #1 overall if he has Steven Jackson-like durability.  speed, power, hands and no viable back-up.

Foster has Tate breathing down his neck, that alone moves him down a few spots for me.

Fact:  MsFadden (not a typo) is not a first rounder with his complete lack of a 16 game season in any of his last 4 years.

Baseless accusation: This year, he'll make it half a decade on that streak.

no i actually follow broncos the most. im not really a fan of any team all that much but i live in denver. I would rather see a good defensive football game than a beat down. i was being sarcastic in the last post sometimes it's hard to pick up. great quote by homer btw.

I got the sarcasm, I was wondering if it meant you think McFadden should be a top pick though, which is usually only something a die hard Raiders fan would say Big smile

McFadden is a good pick IF he can stay healthy. When's he's on the field, the get a lot of fantasy pts. Problem is that he's often not on the field.

Plus last season they kept saying he was coming back so everyone kept him on their roster instead of finding a replacement.  Too many question marks for me to grab him in the first couple rounds.

he's a decent pickup in the 3rd round, i'd say.  but having an elite rb for half a season isn't going to help you much, and will keep you up at night when he's questionable/probable.

I have no problem with picking McFadden, in fact I was hoping he fell to me. After the first 3 RBs everybody has question marks, and you can't predict injuries regardless of past history. He's a talented 3-down back with goal-line duties now that Michael Bush is gone, that's good enough for me. Plus I have a ton of RB depth so I'm good with whatever risk there is.
