Just like we were supposed to last year... yea that worked out real well. Those predictions are as useless as a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.

The midwest was supposed to get slammed last season and we got jack. As always I'll believe it when I see it.

If the predictions are even close to real, they're calling for more El Nino effect this year, which does mean more snow for the EC.

They forgot to mention what "above normal" snowfall is. If it's the average of the last two years then that's nothing special.

I'm fine with anything, as long as it isn't as bad as last year.

never seen massachusetts have such good snow this late into the season. wachusett is usually pretty melted, but it looks exactly like how it was all of last year. just went up last weekend.

that prediction at the top of the page was way off as far as california, at least. We're way below normal and the sun is melting away what little we did get.

Well we got more than last year, and were open much later! Unfortunately I was stuck in Jersey and we didn't get a ton down here but was able to make a few trips North for some real powder!

I'm in western NY and although we had a better season than last year it was still pretty weak. Our idea of a crazy pow day is the one day a year when we get over 6 inches and then its gone the next day.

Aw, come on, there was more than one day when we got over 6 inches of fresh snow. Yes, it disappears pretty quick on the main slopes but stays in the trees and on the sides for a while.
