I want to plan a trip with a few of my friends this winter.
We usually ride Pennsylvania and we have been to Loon, Okemo, Stratton and Killington. Can you suggest a place that we haven't been too?

I was thinking Bromley or maybe Mount Snow, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Charlie

Anything above Pennsylvania. We have also been to Wyndham and Hunter in Upstate NY.

What type of terrain are you looking for?  I like Jay Peak, but it's so damn far compared to the other VT mountains.  Have you been to Stowe?

If you pass through New York Holiday Valley might be worth checking out. Its located in Ellicotville and its got pretty nice trails and a nice park too.

Go for Jay Peak and/or Sugarloaf for access to better glades and steeps.

Agreed. Holiday Valley is a great choice.   It's modern, well run & logically laid out.  Holimont is next door & open to the public on week days.  Town of Ellicottville is cool

I know it's a long way from PA and I'm sure there's places you'd rather hit that are closer.  BUT, if you ever get froggy and go to the U.P. of MI there's a place called Mt. Bohemia that's just magic.  There's only two blues on  the whole mountain.  The rest is all black (up to triple diamond).  It's lots of trees, lots of steeps, cliffs, and it's all natural.  No groomers, no snowguns, and no fancy resort atmosphere.  It's a blast.  But get up there sooner than later, it sounds like they're trying to expand to a more family friendly place instead of a snow junkies paradise.  Right now the accomodations are yurts and small cabins.  There's a small bar in one of the yurts, and they do have wi-fi, but that's about it.  It's unlike any hill in the midwest (people have compared it to the western landscape).

I would highly recommend stowe or killington. I am a huge killinton fan but i just go there cause i have a season pass and its close but when i get the chances i love to goto stowe. The pow and woods at stowe is crazy awesome! they get alot more snow then killington does so i like to go thee for pow as much as i can especially after a big storm. I would highly recommend going there for a trip.

Surprisingly, the doctors took X-ray diagnosis began shaking his head, his mouth Gee, I was immediately pumped wow cool, want to ask the doctor left how long results that doctors say is: "Oh, now young doctors, the handwriting is really bad. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen in VT are very underrated and overlooked resorts too. I'm a big fan. The only drawback there is no night life.

No I haven't, I haven't ridden up that way in years and when I did it was Jack Frost. A few of my friends ride up there but I only live 3 miles from Shawnee Mountain so that is where I usually go.

Alright yeah, I've been to shawnee a handful of times last season. If you're looking for park big boulder has some prime and plentiful features. Jack frost has a few good spots for tree riding if there ever is any powder.

Has anyone been to Durango in Co. We've been going to breck the past couple of years and I have some friends going to Durango. Didn't know if it is worth it or not. We are also going to Utah this year but I would like to get in a couple trips and didn't know if Durango would be a waste of money.

if youve been to loon, you could go to cannon... theres a lot of mountains in that area all within an hour of each other. you could hit cannon, loon, waterville, and theres also a few others that arent coming to mind at the moment.... might be a good trip.
It comes and it goes, get it while it lasts.
